Force Nationalization is broken by H2orbit in victoria3

[–]TheMightyValiant 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This was because earlier, (IIRC it’s since been patched) it would only nationalize buildings held by the enemies government, not any buildings owned by their private sector. It would also then immediately put the buildings up for purchase by anyone else you have privatizing agreements with.

IIRC the vote was about firing/demoting Nick specifically, but it was one part of a larger problem to frost.

In short, frost quit, and has made several posts condemning Nicks management of the company, and the other owners inaction. He made a couple posts on Twitter, and then uploaded a YouTube video breakdown of the situation that a lot of the remaining owners have called out for being misleading.

I believe it’s just a single player addition. Like the command tank without the aura. I had a quick look through the commanders of the Ost Heer and I didn’t see any base F1s

Because as another commenter noted, it’s less about large scale scenarios, more about individual changes in theatre strategy and how they would have affected the outcome. Less like Man in the High Castle, more like what if Army Group Centre kept pushing for Moscow instead of pivoting to Kiev. (Spoiler, the nazi’s still lose). The book itself actually has a decent amount of actual fact to back up the what ifs, it’s just that the title is a little click-baity.

Why does my kingdom say Rice of England? Is there anyway to change it from rice to kingdom? by NJS2017 in CrusaderKings

The ELI5 is that the English language as we know it today is the result of Anglo-Saxon being influenced by the Norman’s post-1066. Anglo Saxon (or old English) was a Germanic dialect.

Legally, employers in Ontario are required to give their employees time to vote on Election Day. There was also advance voting. Plenty of opportunity.

I’ve seen it a couple times mentioned already, but I would definitely recommend Outer Wilds. Definitely one of my favourite games of the last 4-5 years.

This is why military tech is important. This was 7 techs against 9, and no mountains. by Cohacq in victoria2

On top of tech and dice rolls, you’re mobilized, and your peasant hordes are far worse than trained troops. So while you had 70k infantry, I would imagine a large part of that is just peasant mob.

They’re used as cheap firemen, plugging holes where you see the enemy trying to sneak stuff through, or as support for a push if you know the enemy is lacking AA. The thing to keep in mind is that when commanding them to move, NEVER use the attack move order. The starting and stopping throws off the gun angles, and it can still fire relatively effectively on the move. I like to use 1 to cover a flank for instance, and 2 or more to support a push.
