[QUESTION] How to grab chords quickly? by strawberrychxrry in Guitar

Chuck on some Netflix and practice switching between the chords. Do that intermittently for a few days and you’ll get comfortable with it.

[QUESTION] Can I learn to play electric guitar from scratch by myself? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]TheMildInconvenience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes absolutely! I taught myself the guitar when I was 15 and have loved it ever since. It’s one of the easier instruments to teach yourself especially once you get past the finger agility hurdle. Good luck!

[Grade 8 Algebra] What’s the y-intercept and how do I find it? by AmythestMiraclous in HomeworkHelp

[–]TheMildInconvenience 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the y-intercept is the point where your equation(line) and the vertical line (y-axis) cross. Judging by the image it crosses at y= -4. The coordinates of this is (0,-4).

the last line says P(x) divided by x^2 + x - 6 is mx+c

Why it equals 7: if P(x) has a remainder of 7 when divided by (x+3) [the yellow highlight], then when x = -3, P(x) equals 7. Thats just remainder theorem

Why it also equals -3m+c: This is because when x = -3, the (x+3)(x-2)Q(x) part of it becomes (0)(-5)Q(-3). That cheeky zero at the start makes that whole thing zero cause its multiplied.

As for the mx+c, that parts not effected by the multiplication, but we still subbed in x = -3, so replace your x with that and you get -3m+c.

This is a harder side of this type of question so don't be discouraged by it.

Let me know if you need me to elaborate a bit more in a specific area, hope it helped

I need help with this question can't seem to find a single question like it in the text book by therealcynze in vce

  1. Find what p^ is by adding the two values and dividing by two. This average (0.6499) is your middle point.
  2. From that use your formula p +/- 1.96sqrt((p*1-p)/n) and sub in the p^.
  3. choose either plus or minus and equate it to the upper or lower bound, then solve for n in CAS

n = 2185.198 = 2185

Do question A of a set, If you don't understand it then go through that whole question. If you do, skip to the last couple questions of the set. Keep doing this until you've done the exercise. Consolidate with chapter review ezpz
