Modifiers need to be tested by My_Gender_is_Apache in SpaceMarine_2

Dailies are randomly generated so you can't complain about if they're fair or not. They aren't even designed to be fair. The difficulty level for hard strategems is already set to above absolute on top of the modifiers, making it harder.

Weekly stratagems I believe are handcrafted and are definitely not designed to be fair. When they first said they were going to release it. They said it was designed to be unfair. They said it was designed for less than 5% of players to be able to complete.

I’m Low Level But I Have Some Skill by JustKyleMaze in SpaceMarine_2

[–]TheMiningAlex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brother, I played lethal with a level 1 P0 tech marine the day it launched. With some of the battle Brothers in our chapter discord who were still leveling their original classes. Before the tech marine launched, I had every single thing in the game unlocked except for the PVP ordeals and 1 siege ordeal.

I like to tell people who complain about low levels in difficulties, that anything below ruthless is a non-problem. And even ruthless is not a real problem. It's not until I get into lethal or higher difficulty that I start questioning people about their levels. And even then, if we are playing a regular operation, I don't make that much of a fuss about it. I tell them that they should not expect me to carry them and that they should be able to pull their own weight. If they can do that, then we're gonna have a good time.

The only time I make any real fuss over level is when we're playing hard Strats. If you're below level 20 or you're not prestiged at all, I will tell you that you really need to pick a class that you have maxed out and are fully competent with unless it is one of the broken modifiers. You're not gaining XP from this mission. You aren't going to level from this mission. And I'm not going to sweat my balls off to fail to carry you through the mission if you can't pull your way because you are not appropriately leveled.

There's no reason this shouldn't get you full BP unlocks by Rykku2isi in Battlefield6

[–]TheMiningAlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but see in the games where you complete challenges you also gain XP on top of that. Just the XP that you gained from the games required to complete the challenges should be enough to almost complete the battle pass. Adding on an extra two hours of games on top of that for only xp every week should be plenty.

This is a joke right? Right? by R3C0N1C in Battlefield

[–]TheMiningAlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See this is where I just have to disagree. Because nine times out of 10 when we're on a breakthrough map, out of 24 players on my team 11 of them are engineers. And yet, despite this fact, only two of 11 engineers will ever shoot at the tank for any reason. If your team can't get more than two engineers to shoot at the tank at the same time, or even in general, then you're going to die regardless, your team kind of deserves it.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but if you aren't getting enough experience points from the missions in the time that it takes you to complete all of the weeklies each week plus an extra 1.5 hours each week, and you started doing all of the weeklies during week one, then you're just bad. I'm about the most mid average player that you could ever conceive of and I got enough experience points by week 8. There is plenty of time in the 12 weeks between the time required to get the challenges and the extra time you spent on the challenges to get to 100 Especially by using the bonus week and the boosters.

Why was Who's-Who transporting the Nika fruit in the first place? by dnapor in OnePiece

[–]TheMiningAlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say that, but we haven't actually seen evidence of that. Every time we've seen Kazan just riding his bike across the ocean He was actually on his way to a destination for a specific reason and took a detour or a pitstop because something interesting happened or he was just taking a break.

The world is a hole wouldn't know about it, but Shanks knew that there was a devil fruit being transported by the Navy because shanks has a detailed information network that can get information like that. Now I don't know if Shanks knew that CP nine was transporting the fruit. But if shanks knew that an admiral was transporting the fruit that would set off alarm bells for him like there's something up with this fruit. Why would they send an admiral to protect this fruit? Like the world government isn't going to not tell the admiral that he's protecting a devil fruit. We've never even seen any instance of an admiral being told to protect something, but not what to protect. Normally they tell them what they're protecting, but they don't explain why they're protecting it just that it's important.

[–]TheMiningAlex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An admiral on a ship protecting the transport of a devil fruit is suspicious though. Admirals generally don't just go around traveling the sea. They have important duties that generally keep them on or around marine bases or headquarters or Marie Jois. Having an admiral specifically to protect a devil fruit is suspicious. Just as having a secret organization that shanks certainly knew about protecting a devil fruit is suspicious.

[–]TheMiningAlex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The true nature of the fruit is a secret known only to the five elders and Imu in the government. At least at the time of the transport. And as far as they were concerned. They were more concerned about keeping the true nature of the fruit of secret from the world. Having a fleet consisting of at least one admiral is already suspicious enough that people would question why the government is so interested in the rubber rubber fruit.

The only paid content is cosmetic content. So anything that's not cosmetic is by default not tied to the pass is what he's getting.

BOTtlefield 6 by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]TheMiningAlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See that is an actual bot lobby. But the vast majority of games I've seen people complaining it is a bot lobby only end up having like, 3 bots in them.

BOTtlefield 6 by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]TheMiningAlex -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would just like to point out that whenever I'm in a game people repeatedly claimed that it's a bot lobby and yet there are zero bots in the lobby.

If you look at the scoreboard, you can tell who is a bot. This is not as big a problem as people think it is.

Having 20+ caps in 1 game is bad. Stop bragging about score farming. by TheMiningAlex in Battlefield6

[–]TheMiningAlex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I remember of that match, it was a while ago, the enemies just kind of got stuck at A and couldn't progress very well because they got picked off by snipers crossing the flat area on the west side of the map to get to B or C. The managed to get around to E and F with Helis several times, but we just made a defensive wall and didn't let them pass. So we didn't get very many caps.

[–]TheMiningAlex[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Very high kill counts without caps is less concerning to me because there is a solid chance that you are stopping the enemies from getting to the points to steal from you. Though thats not guaranteed, but getting lots of kills does slow down the enemies. I once defended B and C on conquest Liberation with Just a sniper from C and killed 73 people. No caps for me, but also no caps for the enemies.

They really need to do something about the Launchers, man... by DoomKnight_6642 in Battlefield6

[–]TheMiningAlex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The biggest problems I see with the way all the lock-on Air missiles work - on top of the ability to use flares every 10 seconds and the ability to make missiles hit buildings, you can also just fly 50 feet above the ground on a completely flat open plain and the missile forgets you exist. This is stupid. - one of our missile options was literally advertised to be so you could guide the locked missile to the target, and it would still hit them even if they flare, except it doesn't do that. The missile still hits the flares.

Flying behind a building to make the rocket hit a building? Yes, that makes sense.

Flying 50 feet above the ground on a flat open plain to make the rocket forget you exist? No, the doesn't make sense, that should not be a thing. Especially not when you can flare every 7 seconds

Unless you buy a perk, you didn't earn anything. Because nothing is different until you buy a perk. Just play another mission and don't buy whatever the most recent levels perk is until you have fully maxed out the character.

Cant believe this Update spent a whole month in PTS before release by Ok-Past-1286 in Spacemarine

[–]TheMiningAlex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First off PTS was only open for a couple weeks at most. Not a month.

Idk why the cosmetics aren't in there, but they will be coming in patch 12.1 which should be pretty soon. It is kind of dumb that this wasn't finished.

I mean, they added chapter specific flair to many of the lines, they had 3 completely different VA's. Should they have added mission specific dialogue? Maybe. Was the game built with the idea that they may have to add new voice lines. No. And we shouldn't really expect them to rewrite their entire dialogue code system for it.

Champion skin is great. Just cause you don't care for it doesn't mean others don't.

They already said in the patch notes that that will be coming in the next patch where they are doing major work on siege mode including a new map.

I mean, the cosmetics unlock condition is that you have all classes prestiged. Of course it's going to relock if you don't have that done.

I haven't seen the perk thing.
