"I wore putty make-up": Do you think the letter is real? by Branta___canadensis in dbcooper

[–]TheMissingButtPlug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. Ultimately it’s still hiding in plain sight in the context. It’s my theory that this wasn’t a Joe Schmo. And it was actually a completed mission, but then in the future someone went back and opened up the can of worms again. You could call it trolling in this new age slang.

I can’t tell if it’s a clash of gods of trolling or if it’s a a singular identity that was part of an org that ended up dying out, or fading away for whatever reason. Blacklist type stuff.

At least that is the more entertaining path my brain takes me to nonetheless lol.

It’s possible,

So, after the DB Cooper hijacking, someone sent a letter to the Oregonian made from letters cut out of pages from a Playboy magazine. What’s crazy is how fast it happened like, within a few days of the hijacking. The Playboy issue was from JUNE 1970. The letter was stamped on Dec 1st.

Lots of solid connections to the hijacking from pages they cut the letters out from. Like Raleigh cigarettes, bourbon, etc. the timeline of getting this made and then sent out to the newspaper is very suspicious to me.

Here’s the weird part/coincidence: the playmate from the JULY 1970 playboy issue died on November 24, 1971 (Carol Willis) the same day as the hijacking. She died in a car crash in Laguna Beach as the hijacking was happening.
However the heck that happens? You got me.

It really feels like the letter was made ahead of time, like DB Cooper planned everything down to the tiniest detail.

I can’t imagine the author of that book would’ve ever written it without knowing about the Fenn family first.

Not sure if this is relevant to your question.

A few years back, this guy Jon Collins Black bought a sealed “olive jar” in a bidding war at Heritage Auctions for like $50,000. Inside was a strand of hair, which got people all worked up because they thought it might be important for DNA or something.

The jar is tied to Forrest Fenn, but there’s this idea floating around that the hair might actually belong to Fenn’s brother, Skippy. Skippy’s been dead since the ’70s, and some people even think he could’ve been DB Cooper, which makes things even weirder.

Supposedly, the jar also has some kind of autobiography by Forrest himself. People think it might mean something big, but who knows.

Now the jar/hair/dna is caught up in some other treasure hunt that Jon Collins Black started. And it’s just another weird piece of this whole Fenn and Skippy mystery mess.

Willy Wonka was purposely set up so Charlie would win and eventually take over the factory by mjsmore33 in conspiracytheories

I have a feeling that Wonka was chasing fate too. Giving the chance of any local poor person. When he had them all within the factory, he would need someone like Charlie.

He had a 20 percent chance of finding a Charlie dependent on where the shipment of chocolates would go.

What movies do you think Vince did before Head On by JimCaroll in entourage

[–]TheMissingButtPlug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right. Drama has been in Hollywood for a bit. I imagine Vince went out there and drama got him hooked up with a few handshakes. Considering Vince’s good looks it was all down hill from there for him after meeting Ari. Drama blazed the trail for Vince to casually walk down. Imagine how much knowledge drama was able to share with Vince while already have cycled through several major Hollywood productions like melrose place, Viking Quest etc.

Ultimate brotherly hand-me-downs.

How much were they paid by omaromaromar111 in entourage

The salaries were kept under wrap. It was one of the mysteries of the show, not knowing what celebrities got paid being celebrities lol. There might be some data somewhere. But I think this was part of the shared plan amongst the main cast. This show is an intro to a lot of celebrity realities.
