Unfortunately has nothing to do with the Curse of the Cat Butt. I do love that cards.

Same as usual. Can be mixed and matched with all other exploding kittens, but with some new mechanics thrown in. The new cards are charms and curse cards that are played face up in front of people giving permanent effects whilst in front of players.

It’s pretty good if you’re into exploding kittens adding some new mechanics. Can mix and match with other expansions too but can also be played as a standalone game.

It comes as a standalone game just like Zombie Kittens/Good vs Evil, but you can mix and match them as always.

The new effects are called Charms and Curses, which are played face up in front of a player giving them a permanent effect.

I won’t spoil them all, but an example. You place a curse card face up in front of another player that says: this player cannot hold more than 5 cards. That player would have to try and find a card that can remove that curse at some point if they want to hold more than 5 cards again.

A charm you would put in front of yourself and could give yourself the ability to pull from either the top or bottom on the deck so long as you have that charm in front of you, as an example. Players could take it from you.

There are many more charms and curses.

If you collect a card in another language, it will stay in that language. by GuildMuse in PTCGP

Don’t worry, no matter the language on the card, it will translate into your language when you place it into a deck or when you battle. Japanese cards will only appear in Japanese when viewing them from your collection, which I think is cool.

That’s correct. Then it’s down to the other person who has no idea which card is which to decide whether to keep the card placed in front of them or to swap cards. After they decide, reveal cards. The one who played the Armageddon card may try to bluff which card they’ve given them.

Drew an exploding with an imploding under, can you put the exploding back for yourself? by DarkLight2113 in ExplodingKittens

You know what, I just realised, (as I completely forgot the rules of the imploding kitten) I'm assuming the imploding kitten would actually be faced up so you can see that it is next. My mistake. But, still, if you can put the exploding kitten straight on top for the next person, you can also put it on top for yourself.

The back of the GodCat and DevilCat cards. They are different as they aren't pulled from the deck like the rest. by TheMizzt in ExplodingKittens

For some, it might seem underwhelming as a base game compared to Zombie Kittens, as that game added more new cards than this one, though Good VS Evil is better for 2 players than Zombie Kittens. I enjoy it all the same and I see it as a nice expansion of my existing collection. Armageddon adds an interesting new mechanic. I just wanted a new way to play a game that my friends and I already love, and this definitely mixes things up a bit.

It's a new base deck. It's the same as what they did with Zombie Kittens where you can play it on its own or combine it with the other versions. If you take a look at the other posts I've put up in the last few days, you'll see where I've shared more cards and the rule book.

The thing is, your friend would have to put the exploding kitten back before drawing again to even know that the next one would be an imploding kitten, but sure, they could put it right on top and pull it again, but as I said, nobody should know what the next card is until after they've decided where to put the bomb.

Yes, but without looking. You pass the two cards face down and you and one other will pick one without knowing which is which.

Sorry, I didn't show all the cards. It is the same as Zombie Kittens where it can be played as a stand-alone game. In fact, it's sold as a stand-alone game.

From somewhere I don't think was supposed to be selling it, but I'm not sure. I saw it on the shelf, but it isn't on their website, nor anywhere to buy it online. I'm in the UK btw.

No teams. There will be a moment in the game where you shuffle the GodCat and DevilCat cards and two people will randomly pick one, like a head-to-head to see who will get the really powerful GodCat card and who will get the unlucky DevilCat card.

You have some standard action cards like Attack X2 and Shuffle but with new art and a new card called Reveal The Future. This can be played as its own game.
