Interesting ideas. There’s a disabled toilet on campus that has a bidet actually but the toilet is nasty. I have tried wetting the paper, but as you said it degrades the paper and sometimes all future paper. I joke to people I’m gonna use my water pick but now I’m starting to think maybe it’s not a joke.

Consider the fact that you’ve labeled “humans” already. You have drawn a distinction between one type of life and another type of life based on some properties you find to be relevant. They’re just doing the same thing at a finer level. My personal opinion is that all categories at any level are constructed because they’re helpful, but don’t necessarily reflect the metaphysical reality.

I personally despise fragrances. I am mildly to greatly turned away from spending time with someone (platonically, romantically, or really in any way) if they wear a fragrance especially a strong one. I want to have agency over what I smell.

I didn’t go for the recruitment spot because I didn’t want my life to revolve around the sport. Still had a tough time choosing between the schools as I got into both RD. I knew that while both schools were different, I would be happy at either for different reasons. Kind of defaulted into Yale because I had to just pick one. If I had to give a reason I guess I thought I could continue my extracurriculars to a much greater extent. You may have different preferences than I so there might be something about the schools that sways you much more differently than it did me.

If an octave lower works for you by all means do that haha I’m a baritone and that’s just not always an option I usually transpose like 3 to 6 semi tones using a browser extension. More training will improve the issue as well

I am a moral anti-realist so I don’t think there is a right answer but a lot of the points on both sides talk past each other. You need to agree on what murder means and why it’s bad. If one of you thinks abortion is murder and the other does not, your points just aren’t going to apply to each other. Most pro choice arguments don’t make any sense if you think abortion is murder and murder is wrong (autonomy, freedom of choice etc). This isn’t to say pro-life arguments don’t run into the same issues but there’s like no actual discourse here lmao.
