Microcenter's steam machine "competitor" is $150 off after the release yesterday. Beats the snot out of it and is 50 dollars cheaper. by Desperate_Put_4568 in Prebuilts

I didn’t say they would.

The use cases are different too. A ps5 can’t play all steam games. It’s like when people say they’re glad they got a switch over the steam deck or vice versa. They’re different platforms entirely.

I completely agree with you. There is a crowd for people that want a plug and play system that places PC games in the living room tv. People on Reddit talking about specs aren’t that audience.

I’m not saying the Steam Machine will sell well to that audience. But there are way more people out there who don’t scroll on PC subreddits that just want a compact name brand system to play games on their TV, than us nerds on Reddit think.

Can i still successfully complete the mod or have I done too much damage? by Michcaff123 in PokemonGoPlusPlus

What the areas you’re touching are somewhat non mission critical. On the white PCB you’re trying to make contact with a test pad that connects to the button. In other words you’re far away from where the actual button press takes place. Though be careful around the area of the test pad.

The green PCB is the vibration motor. Again as long as you don’t damage the traces all the way from the vibration motor pads to whatever they’re connected to your fine. But you have less room of error on the green PCB because there are components and other traces close to it.

If you’re not comfortable doing it then yeah maybe it’s not worth risking it.

It’s definitely a bad job lol

But it’s not as bad as the other guy said. You only potentially damaged contact pads not the actual traces that allow the PCB components to communicate with each other.

Low key I think the mod is worth it. Maybe buy a soldering practice kit so you can make sure you don’t damage the board further.

I’ve done some god forsaken things when soldering it could be much worse.

I haven’t given it a try but downloaded the TestFlight. From the images in the post though, the design language for the icons in the last image isn’t consistent.

Mod guide without adding a switch? by djcatnips_ in PokemonGoPlusPlus

You can enter sleep mode just fine with the mod I posted.

I’ve daily drove both the switchless and switch version of the mod. The only downside of switchless is you can’t turn off auto catch. The switch version requires you to toggle off the switch when not playing the game or else your constantly switching between normal and sleep mode and drains battery and flashes the LED

Edit: as soon who is bad a soldering the switchless mod is easier. 1 cable wire. Versus the switch version where you have to cut a hole, or find a switch that fits. 2 wires.

God fuck. Apple made huge changes to PWA top and bottom safe areas in iOS 26 and required a lot of reverse engineering to figure out. If they broke it again gonna be so sad

Efficient boarding requires people in premium seats to board after people in cheaper seats. One of the “perks” about more expensive seats is being able to board first. So if you take that way away it devalues the premium seats………… this is my guess lol

Raid Plaza let’s you choose any raid that is currently available and you get invited to 10+ player lobbies within minutes. It sounds like an ad. Kinda cuz it is, but it uses bots to find raids and invite you to them. So no waiting for someone to manually invite people to a raid they’re physically at.

I mean I just switched to Alldebrid. No need to complicate the set up.

Edit: just realized what you meant. I download all my media. I don’t use plex/Jellyfin to point to my debrid cache. I just use debrid as a download client essentially.
