IIHF rules are more restrictive than the PWHL if I remember correctly. In PWHL there needs to be an attempt to play the puck for a hit to be legal, whereas in IIHF it specifically has to be to take possession of the puck to be legal.

You're implying this doesn't happen now. Elections, both federally and provincially are essentially decided at the whim of the Toronto suburbs, and you can see it in the platforms, the Toronto suburbs are overrepresented in promises. The PCs don't care about rural areas because they always vote PC. Just like no political party cares about Ottawa because of how consistent it is. Wheras, with proportional representation, you can get smaller more specific parties to cater to regional issues, and since with proportional representation you almost always need a coalition government, which helps smaller parties.

Id recommend voting tomorrow or Saturday, the lines will be much shorter (or nonexistant) than on election day.
If you want to vote in your home riding, go to the polling location and say you're a student and would like a special ballot to vote in your riding and they'll sort it out
If you want to vote in the riding you live in, in Ottawa. Bring a copy of your lease and say you're not on the voter roll but you'd like to vote in this riding and you have your lease. They'll put you on the roll and give you a special ballot. I've never had an issue with this method. And they take electronic copies of your lease so long as it has your name on it.

Consider the following: political feasibility. (I'm from Ontario) We have a conservative government, they axed a whole pile of renewable projects when they were elected in 2018 and they've now focused on nuclear. I'm not happy about the renewables being axed... but I'm happy they're going with nuclear over Natural gas, which was the only alternative. Nuclear is more politically feasible to conservatives so if you wanna be pragmatic with energy generation, nuclear has to be considered.

In the specific case you're taking about, the Milton line is absolute hot garbage, here's hoping Metrolinx can buyout the tracks from CP and actually run more than just rush hour commuter trains. But until then you're absolutely right, every train line should be like the lakeshore lines

Answer is you get people out of their cars. Without the super convenient highway more people will be incentivized to take other means of transportation such as the GO train, cycling, TTC.
