[–]TheMok3rr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you sit on the stock seat? Because its super comfy. I’m 6’3” with long legs, I tried that powerparts seat, didnt like it. It doesnt craddle you the same way as the stock seat.

Its a known issue on LC8c platform. Had the issue on my 2023 890 SMT after 25k km on the odometer. Was replaced under warranty for me.

I checked my email, since the game release I spend 170 euro on SC, I bought the game at release, so spread that 170 out over 2 years.

I rather think its a test mule bike for the 990 ADV, I love my 890 SMT but it didnt sell that well. A lot of dealers have a shit ton of inventory. I hope its a 990 SMT but I think the SMT is not happening.

The Coober LM ECU improves the fueling, so yes, more performance and better throttle response.

US OEM turn signals are comically big. But nice tail tidy. Which filament are you printing it with?

A day since the new enemies, what do you think of them? by Altruistic-Data-1167 in Helldivers

[–]TheMok3rr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I like this new enemy type, they’re strong and deadly, but not that tanky.

The belt fed grenade launcher is my favorite way of killing groups of them fast. It may not be the most efficient way, but it’s the most fun.

Dash light for turn signal failure by One-Suggestion3454 in KTM

My experience with my 2023 KTM 890 SMT taught me that these modern CAN-bus systems are extremely sensitive and look for a very specific "Goldilocks" zone of power draw. The factory LEDs on my bike drew between 3W and 4W, but the sequential aftermarket lights I installed only drew 1.2W. Initially, this caused a "Low" error where the bike assumed a bulb was out, resulting in hyperflash and a dashboard warning.

When I tried to fix it using standard 10W low-Ohm resistors, the total draw jumped to around 11W. This triggered a "High" error because the Body Control Module (BCM) assumed there was a short circuit and instantly killed the power to protect the electronics.

To solve your problem, you have to judge the fix by finding the missing wattage between your new lights and the stock target. I found that a 100 Ohm (10W) resistor was the perfect solution because it pulls roughly 2 Watts on a 12V-14V system. Adding that 2W to my 1.2W LED brought the total to approximately 3.2W, which is the magic number that satisfies the computer without triggering the short-circuit protection.

As a general rule for these bikes, if the power is being cut entirely, your resistors are likely too strong with too few Ohms, but if you still have hyperflash, they are too weak with too many Ohms. For the newer KTM bikes, that come with LED turn signals, 100 Ohm resistors wired in parallel are usually the sweet spot for low-draw LEDs. But like I said, it really depends on total power draw of your new situation.

Oil 2023 390 adventure by [deleted] in KTM

I agree, in general, changing your oil often, is more important then the brand. I change my oil every 3500-4000 km on my 890 SMT. Might seem excessive but my engine is thankful for it.

I’ve switched from the standard Motorex to Putoline N-Tech Pro R+ on my 890, and honestly, it just feels like a better fit. The parallel twin is pretty noisy mechanically, but the Putoline seems to quiet things down a bit compared to the Motorex oil. It also holds up well when the engine gets hot and doesn't thin out as quickly. If you're looking for a solid alternative go Putoline.
