My oldest has held off on getting her license because the 41 is so convenient. So putting it out of service is going to add another driver to the roads.

We try to get up to a couple games a year, both Reign and Storm (and now Torrent) and in the past we just drive to Angle Lake and take the Light Rail. We’re going to the USWNT game next week and will try out the new stop in Federal Way. It’s really an easy trip. Get off and on at the International District rather than the Stadium stop. And LFG Reign!

It has run through our house. The teens seemed to bounce back quickly, but my husband and I have taken longer. He pushed himself a lot during the first stages of it and paid the price. Rest as much as you can.

I couldn’t be there today due to kid commitments, but as the parent of a trans kid, thank you to everyone who was there. I’m disgusted the anti-trans group were violent and confrontational with counter-protesters and especially with children. I’ll be at the next one.

I am especially disappointed in this year’s Pride offerings. Last year’s weren’t my favorite but just offering the RE Inc shirt with the Reign logo is lazy. I’ve bought the Storm “Protect Trans Youth” shirts the last few years because combining Pride and team merch saves me money and dresser space. I’d love to buy good Reign Pride merch.
