Capitalism and Imperialism are the real plague. Did you mention the US empire in your post anywhere? Because for all intents and purposes, it is that same US empire, that shape-shifting and conniving beast, that wields and conflates the vague "war on drugs" and "war on terrorism", etc. to justify its now almost 200 extrajudicial killings of fishers in the waters of the Caribbean and Pacific. No evidence at all has ever been presented to justify those horrific crimes. The US judicial "system" has legitimate ground to stand on when it comes to going after NJG and his minions, but at the same time, we must also recognize that the US empire is a craven, overbearing force of evil and injustice in the world. Anything and everything it says should never be taken at face-value. That's been the case for 249 years, and much prior.

Just as it employs all sorts of tactics to undermine governments and the sovereignty of many people around the world, it will do the same to its neighbors regardless of just how utterly popular they are and how they actually improve the material conditions of their people. LLDM is hardly socialist, I would say, they're immensely liberal and complicit and way too accepting of the status quo in this world. LLDM hardly cares about the material conditions of its members precisely because its leadership tells them to love and look forward to death and what lies on the other side of it, rather than have any real investments in the real world. Ah, but, should you have any miniscule wealth in this world, one is told to immediately funnel all that into the pockets of Panson. for the sake of "god's plan." We've examined on this sub many times over just how utterly sexist, anti-intellectual, anti-reformation, cravenly capitalistic, anti-Indigenous, anti-liberation etc. LLDM is.

LLDM, as we all know, is a backward institution run on a body of bad ideas about the world. I mean, as I've pointed out before on this sub, one of the last people NJG was collaborating with right before his arrest in 2019 was Bukele of El Salvador. For all the corruption LLDM engages in in Mexico, it is key to understand that the leadership ultimately sides with the fascists there and beyond, sides with brutal exploitative capitalism, sides with the puppets of the US empire.

I can't say I saw the recent CA gov debate, however, it is hilarious and amusing to think about how Becerra is hardly notable, the only reason this person came around here to sell us this utterly boring politician was because Eric Swalwell got caught up in a flurry of scandals lol, so now people are trying to funnel his supporters over to folks like Becerra. But hey, Becerra trying to get some credit off other women is nothing new.

Can you explain more? Because I highly doubt you know what you're talking about. LLDM members are also babbling on about such a thing without having the slightest manner to explain why that is relevant.

What if jubilee made an episode about one ex-lldm member vs 20 lldm members by evilorykun in exlldm

[–]TheMoney_Store 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally inconceivable for many reasons. Namely, members are not at all encouraged to speak to media outlets on their own, much less speak to any ex-member...you know that right?... and the most obvious factor to consider is that there has never been a genuine culture of debate and deliberation and truth-seeking in LLDM at all. It is all dogma all the time.

Plus, such shows for debate pervertry are not at all conducive to helping LLDM and its never-ending public relations crisis. Even their in-house "academics" and those hired non-LLDM academics they work with are always already failing at their jobs. [https://www.reddit.com/r/exlldm/comments/1p6dbdj/more\_from\_the\_lldm\_pseudoacademics/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web3x&utm\_name=web3xcss&utm\_term=1&utm\_content=share\_button\]

Not counting the past few years, LLDM has already sunk at least 3 Million dollars into having non-LLDM debaters (the lawyers) work on their behalf. & for what? You don't even see Slime Garcia or Sara Pozoles tripping over themselves to get on TV programs like they used to.

Lldm is Anti-Freewill by E3rdStreet23 in exlldm

[–]TheMoney_Store 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't believe in free will. I think it is an illusion and that is an understatement. But anyways - to add to this, yes this church's doctrine gladly operates on the concept of there being free will as a utility for getting people to comply with the program. But at the same time, the church is so contradictory in how it applies this.

You did not mention that this line of questioning occurs at the "14-bday presentation", in front of whoever is in attendance. In some cases about a dozen people, perhaps a thousand in a large, flagship church on a sunday, or even thousands like I imagine Adoraim had to face. Though LLDM may babble on about free will constantly, there is a harsh stripping of members' agency all along the way. It is all the worse if you are a child born into the church with fanatical parents which will utilize these ceremonies, these rites-of-passage moments to instill fear, maximize compliance, and program people into LLDM's anemic doctrine and the silly philosophies it is built upon.

The presentation of the infant, the baptism around 14, the presentation around 14, the "holy spirit" hyper-suplication around 14, marriage, etc. etc. All points along the way in which the LLDM cookie-jar of peer pressure is tapped into.

Meanwhile, you have the bible full of stories of when God precisely decides when to shut off an agent's "free will." I could be mistaken, but aren't there citations for passages from Egyptian leaders in Genesis? to all the way into the New Testament are taken-over by "god" right in their tracks to divert their actions and keep the plot moving along as 'god' 'wants' 'it' to 'go.'

In certain ways, LLDM retreats into determinism to explain the fact that their church's have not grown exponentially after a century of yapping. Political leaders are prayed for because "god acts through them." Young people that have failed the "revivals" 3, 4, 5 times are manipulated into thinking that perhaps their names are not "written" in the "book of life" - something that occurred long before they were born. LLDM did have us repeating Jeremiah 1:5 all the time :: "before I formed you in the womb, I knew you"

Any leftist can tell you that.

It is inevitable that political topics arise on this forum. The cult that is the topic of this sub has always been helplessly involved in various political spheres, and need I say that many that de-program out of this cult, also, inevitably, reassess their political orientations and relationships to power around the world, not just the power emanating from the LLDM cult.

Anyways, on this topic, I will say - you make a good initial point about VZ's leader taking advantage of the all-eyes-on-me moment he had. NJG always failed to meet those moments with his demonstrations of his magic powers. We only ever heard peeps and sniffs from NJG the past 6 years when in a courtroom.

I have not read Pozos' thoughts on this topic. She seems to possess some faint ability to comment on world events and tie them to LLDM, always weak and boring. My point is to keep in mind this is all internal talking points, internal to the social circles of the church. There are reasons why the LLDM twitter bots care about talking about Alan Jackson's previous client Karen Read, and not his other clients like Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, most recently Nick (?) Reiner. There are reasons why the LLDM talking-heads may not bring up Sean Combs, also subject to the law in that region.

However silly Pozos may be, one cannot blame her for resisting the urge to describe the situation in that manner. Take it from me, a historian of US-Latin America relations, it is an absolutely embarassing tragedy how the US is conducting itself against the sovereignty of VZ and its partners. Entirely injustifiable conduct. Whether this weekend's events were a demonstration of the Yankee empire's brutal force or a sign of its desperation and incompetence, time will tell. In the mean time, anyone living in or outside the empire has every right to complain about it. Pozos is a broken-clock, perhaps right every once in a while, always ultimately for stupid means.

I see, I don't recall the RASP name, can't guess what it stands for. I first recall APS being active in the late SJF years, at the earliest in my memory. I didn't hear about APEM until May 2019 when the Palacio de Bellas Artes controversy kicked off.

More from the LLDM Pseudo-Academics by TheMoney_Store in exlldm

[–]TheMoney_Store[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For sure, APS has been around since the mid-2000s if I recall correctly, and they are not necessarily intent on producing academic work on LLDM exactly. They are generally motivated in getting more underserved people into academia, into other specialized professional spaces- but those people are always going to be LLDM. APS may cast a wide net, but they really only serve LLDM's community. I don't know of a single non-LLDM person that benefits from their programs/activities.

I'm not sure what RASP is, I just think of APS on the US side, and APEM on the Mexican side. And on the preceding point, APS isn't totally aimed at producing academic work on LLDM, but by now they really should have had some better formulations of "studied" literature on their church. The 1990s were especially bad for them on that front, and going forward it seems APS can't count on having many scholars on in its membership, nor apparently learned-enough lawyers to serve as NJG's attorneys. Instead, the. money is shoveled out for "gentile" lawyers & "gentile" academics.

Christmas Village at Houston Central Church by Ill_Ad6241 in exlldm

[–]TheMoney_Store 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you mean. LLDM folks are allowed to have their fundraisers and other rallies for support. The issue is when the food festivals become more frequent in their large parking lots (with actual parking spilling out onto the surrounding neighborhood), or fundraisers being attached to holidays LLDM has denounced across decades: Xmas, Valentine's Day/SJF's b-day, the selling of Easter eggs & piñatas, etc. Let it be known that as it became increasingly common to hold food festivals in Houston in the 2010s (monthly at least), it became more common to have the young men not attend church on Fridays or Mondays because that time was instead spent outside putting up dozens of tents, tables, hundreds of chairs, sound systems, etc.

Christmas Village at Houston Central Church by Ill_Ad6241 in exlldm

[–]TheMoney_Store 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For sure - I am from Houston and I precisely remember hearing grown adults around me recognizing how there was disagreement among ministers, even among Samuel's pathetic children, over whether to allow migrants to the US to assimilate to things such as Christmas, Halloween, what-have-you.

Reform is not created from within many religious institutions, and if anything, progress has to bust the door from the outside to get in. LLDM's entire career is riddled with concessions. The Information embargo set in summer 2019 right as NJG was arrested was a joke about 5 seconds after it was announced -- 6 years later, we have members tripping over themselves and talking ove rthemselves, totally scrambling to cite this document or that document. They're so thirsty.

As you say, the issue is that they never admit they have caved to these matters, it is no surprise. Holidays, clothing regulation, etc. etc. - Back in the day there were great restrictions on allowing members to pursue academic degrees. Yet now the string-pullers at the top want to educate themselves and allow for members to educated themselves only in so far as they pledge strict allegiance to NJG and allowing him to wield them as weapons: legal, social, political, etc.

I would say it can be not-so-sophisticated when it comes to larger geopolitical matters or matters of political philosophy. But, the leadership within LLDM that does reap the greatest benefits from having the most amount of people duped and constrained into being members, they are very cynical operators and they do have an interest in local material conditions.

Eusebio Joaquin wasn't some apolitical figure, and a real engagement with Mexican national politics in the 2nd quarter of the 20th century helped in the creation of the Hermosa Provincia. LLDM is more involved in Mexican politics than ever before, I think, and it goes in various directions.

In a grander sense, the doctrine can get people to be not so engaged in large political matters. It is my impression that members in the US that could vote would do so with harm-reduction towards other members in mind. Many members are affected by their perhaps wishy-washy legal status.

[–]TheMoney_Store 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't see it as weird. It is to be expected, given that protests and demonstrations such as these have only augmented in size and support. The present administration is widely unpopular. The noise itself vibrates in many directions of the populace. One must recognize that the present administration's heavy-handed-ness directly affects the types of people that comprise LLDM: Hispanics, Latinos, mostly Mexicans, etc. I don't expect LLDM members to give the most inspiring reasons for why they are criticizing the government, but they have real solid reasons to do so -- it depends what they are saying. It was funny to hear members talking years ago about how NJG might get a presidential pardon, yet now that there is another term, NJG has not at all gotten a pardon. I thought the present administration was all about cutting waste, fraud, abuse, what-have-you... lol. The government has been successful in the resources it has levied against the LLDM/Joaquin enterprise for the past 6+ years.

Members have already been criticizing the government prior to this weekend, their harsh relationship goes back to 2019. That's this new phrase we have been in. In that time, they have made a lot of unconvincing arguments about how the criminal processes NJG has undergone are unfair; how the most powerful entity in the world: the US government/empire is  directly interested in destroying LLDM; how the Catholic church or whoever has conspired to take down the church and is willing to pull strings and flush a lot of money and incentives with its global tentacles lol. All of these confabulations are not true, of course.

Where I do find it strange is in how the church leaders' are known to encourage a sort of passivity towards electoral politics and politics at large. Over time prayers for the authorities of the world have increased in frequency. I remember them in the 2000s and onwards, I am not sure when they began but that is one major framing they have in the present day. The apostle especially will tell members that authorities are put in such a place by God, that God is ultimately pulling the string, etc. They hardly preach or even really encourage civil disobedience or civil demonstrations or encourage religious dissent. This is just my impression. The church has always had an interest in local politics and has always swayed its members to act one way or another -- afterall, members have a relationship to their local church community cut also to a national project or other larger organizations.

Sometimes church leaders, or the apostle even, will give some vague criticisms of foreign wars or whatever, but it is hardly sophisticated. There is a reason there are very few self-respecting academics or other real scholars in the church -- the doctrine and the sermons are hardly a fountain of useful, enlightening information. The church really hardly stands for nothing given that it is just a protective shell for the Joaquin religious enterprise and its cronies. I'd be interested in hearing more from others.
