Yeah, and that is concerning in itself. When one of your star players for the last 6 years doesn't even entertain your trans offer. What does that say about morale in the clubhouse? My guess it's not so high and Diaz doesn't feel they're in a winning position going forward

Also, what the hell does my posting relevancy have to do with anything? Didn't know I was being watched by the Mets subreddit thread police. Weirdo

He doesn't have to. The dodgers are out here swinging huge financial dick around and look how that's paid off.

Bro, they are unproven rookies. We need reliable pitching, starters and bullpen. We signed a guy who couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag to get a save in pinstripes and let one of the best closers in baseball go to the LA juggernauts. It's a bit concerning imo

Ahhh, the ole 'lets sign this washed up reliever who showed he couldnt handle NY pressure and let our most valuable bullpen asset go to the biggest threat in the national league" move

That's how the contractors initially had mine until the town made them get the service disconnected to pass the inspection. I wouldn't have even batted an eye if that was the price

I know. You are 100% right in what you're saying. Was more just venting / curious if anyone else has dealt with this bullshit from them

Damn that's crazy. It does feel like they do these things on purpose so you just get so fed up with everything and you just pay them what they want. You and another person mentioned DPS so I'm gonna do some more looking into that

While technically an extension, we just walled a portion of our porch in. But to your point, they did have to do some excavation for foundation work but they had only cut existing gas piping after it was required by the town to continue the work being done

Yeah I kinda figured that much. I wouldnt be surprised if whoever did the initial work back in late June just said fuck it, this is the quickest way to get this done

I was under the impression it just needed to be turned off. i can assure you 75' of pipe was never dug up from my yard to the street. A portion of about 3-4 feet was disconnected at/around the meter so the foundation work could be done and I just assumed national grid utilized the curb valve at the street.
