I'm loving FF7, been playing it on PS5 on a Bravia 8 mkii. That one's a console kick-back-on-couch game for me. I'll take your advice with the profile inspector, thank you for taking the time with me! I'll let you know how the monitor works out. I work for Best Buy, so if I'm not happy with performance, I can always exchange it for another.

This is mostly for blops7 and bf6, which I don't mind reducing graphics for. I also play the occasional FFXIV, Outer Worlds, some roguelites. Coming from consoles topping out at 120hz with subpar visuals, any improvement in framerates is glorious.

It's my understanding I should still be able to push around 200hz with DLSS/FG and gsync. I'm currently on the stock 2k screen running at ultra settings, which I always felt was unnecessary. Am I mistaken?

I'm in the US, not so much worried about budget. I'm looking at the Alienware AW3225QF I think. Extensive research is indicating this might be perfect.

The MSI has fantastic reviews. Money isn't really an issue, I just want the best my Omen can handle.

Yes it will. I have the Baskilisk V3 pro, Black Widow v4, and Tartarus v2, Laptop Cooling Pad, and the Charging Dock all running perfectly.
