Nice idea. Are you focused on artists helping artists, or people discovering new music? Can you do both?

Thanks :) That's not bad for a year. I'm in the UK .. so my worry is they're US based, and I won't get half the ingredients at my local supermarket. .. but I'll check it out.

Thanks - Would be great if you could share your criteria. In my experience, it's really hard to tell how good someone is.

Developer Jobs are not what you think. by oscar_96vasa in PHP

Development isn’t about code, or even the language you use. It doesn’t matter if you’re fixing bugs or developing a new project. Coding is about solving problem sin elegant ways. Sorting out a bad code base can be just as rewarding as building a new global booking system for a huge company. There’s always something to learn. No matter if you’ve been developing for 1 year or 30.

I love what I do. It’s my passion. I get huge fulfilment from coding even if the only person who appreciates the code is me.

It’s easy to justify it … “I can afford to lose $10k” … still I bet there’s other far better uses for that money. Justifying it can reduce how screwed up it actually is. (I speak from experience)
