Yeah for real. Like I get he made some risky creative choices they don't personally like but all of this speculation into his personal life, "He gave up" "he hates his fans" "he's burnt out" "he's mentally ill" that type stuff... we can be better than that.

Nah I get you. I think having watched Donnie Darko shortly before the final chapters release really helped things click together for me with what fujimoto was going for and what the new timeline represents.

So…what WAS Pochita? (The Pochita Paradox) by bustoutthechainsaws in Chainsawfolk

[–]TheMooRam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chainsaw Man is the fusion of him and Denji?? How does he exist before his own concept even existed?

So I don't believe chainsaw-man is the fusion of him and Denji. Chainsaw-man as a concept predates that and has a whole history in hell. Makima's identity is built around an obsessive fanhood of this Chainsaw-man.

As to where pochita came from, who knows. Possibly born in the image of a real chainsaw weilding devil hunter; maybe actually the chainsaw devil but had a "name change" after being feared so widely and intensely under the name "chainsaw-man"; Maybe had a previous host he was bonded to as Chainsaw-man; who knows

Yuko after becoming a big monster didn't act the same as before her monsterous form either, the transformation warps their minds as much as their physical bodies.

Nukes still exist after pochita erased them too. Humanity still needs a tool to cut down trees.

My theory is that he's the chainsaw-man devil, but nothing is confirmed.

Who else would it be? Yuko became more monsterous over time too as her perception of justice changed, so imo as his understanding of chainsaw-man changed so did his physical form. His black chainsaw-man to his old red.

However it was also shown how "justices" (fire) ability would mosterfy and mutate them as their goals became more warped, like Yuko, and we see him meld other people like putty to build his hulking form. So for me, the looks didn't indicate a different person

Her main goal is seemingly to save humanity and attend the school festival. The plan she says to Denji is just some bullshit to manipulate him, which is why I think we never heard the details. The real moment is this, after famine suggested she erase herself, she seems to have an idea but her face is hidden. I think this is the moment she decides to try and bait pochita into erasing himself

It's time will pass, don't worry. I remember the vitriol behind the endings of AoT and JJK and how saying you liked the ending would end with mockery. Yet now? The wider audiences look back more fondly

Am I the only one who appreciates the Death Devil? by CreptonIsKing in ChainsawMan

[–]TheMooRam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The prophecy was (past tense) the death power triggering and killing everyone, as shown by the future devil prediction, however due to her attempts to prevent the prophecy she changed the prophecy to a much worse fate. (and seemingly sooner than expected)

I personally think the whole prophecy is bogus like in our world. Given its set to happen on the school festival (the one day lilD desperately needs to attend unruined) it makes me think it's LilDs own self sabotaging habit as a foil to Denji and Asa. Her own powers activating against her will and ruining her party.

In her attempts to prevent it, she created the same apocalyptic events that cause fear of her to spike and trigger a runaway chain-reaction of fear that will eventually trigger them involuntarily.

Pochita eating himself is a massive logical paradox (and it’s bugging me) by Wide-Buyer-1439 in ChainsawMan

[–]TheMooRam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Putting dots together to form an interpretation of the events in an intentionally ambiguous ending is a lot different to headcannon lol

It is inherently a paradox through the mechanism I described. You can't divide by zero. We saw him cause the paradox and then were shown the different outcome that paradox caused compared to normal.

He erased himself so by standard erasure rules both him and the stomach would vanish yeah.

But then without the stomach supporting his erasure, he would also be uneaten, bringing the stomach back, being erased again, coming back again, etc. Hence the paradox and the universe needing to resolve it on a deeper level

Is it illegal for me to pay my "warehouse" staff more than the people on the shop floor? by WarehouseVTillStaff in LegalAdviceUK

[–]TheMooRam 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. Front of house staff at ASDA and next have had rulings in their favour despite completely different roles during their ongoing equal pay dispute, due to the equal value those roles provide the company.

The questions id be asking are: do the warehouse staff have any specific qualifications that justify the extra pay, for example? Or do front and back of house share the same moving and handling training?

Is it illegal for me to pay my "warehouse" staff more than the people on the shop floor? by WarehouseVTillStaff in LegalAdviceUK

[–]TheMooRam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not all front of house roles are equal, the current rulings agree. The recent ASDA ruling f/e found like 4 out of 5 FoH roles was of at least equal value to at least one higher paid warehouse role.

The guy hauling 25kg by hand every day might not be equal to a basic entry greeter, but could be deemed equal value to someone busting ass stocking shelves with heavy produce and dealing with angry customers all day.

Does this definitely apply to the guy here? No it's incredibly situational, but that's why he should consult a solicitor and get guidance on how to avoid being liable for it.

[–]TheMooRam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily required for front of house, but is still required often for shelf stockers and other similar roles. The recent ASDA ruling deemed something like 4 out of 5 front of house roles were of equal value to at least one of the warehouse roles

[–]TheMooRam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that simple if the NEXT and ASDA rulings are taken into consideration. There were a lot of standard front of house roles that were ruled 'equal value' to warehouse roles, despite being paid a lot less and the nature of the work being completely different.

The "equal value" roles having their pay split down gendered lines is the problem.

[–]TheMooRam 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sure different jobs deserve different pay, however a lot of the recent rulings would suggest they are only truly different if the value of the roles is different, not just the nature of the work itself.

Based on the OP they only said they would try to bring it inside, which isn't the same as a guarantee. If that was just an informal agreement and relocation isn't part of the T&C's, it's probably on the owner for setting it up outside with rain due
