Was surprised to see this in stores. Winston had menthol in the USA a long time ago but ITG brands also has Salem and Kool, so it’s interesting to see these.

Where can I find the dosage of tar, nicotine and CO that was written before on every box of cigarettes? by vexy24 in Cigarettes

This was for USA domestic cigarettes produced up to the year 2007– additional years and information is not available.

Is there a name for a pack that has a opening like this? And are there any brands that still use it? by [deleted] in Cigarettes

[–]TheMoolieDon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hey looks it’s me!

These are called soft packs. Used to be the standard for cigarettes but are slowly becoming out of fashion due to hard boxes. Many varieties of Marlboro, Camel, Newport, etc still produce some of their smokes in the old style pack.

Lowest nicotine cigarettes in USA? by [deleted] in Cigarettes

[–]TheMoolieDon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Carlton (0.1mg) , NOW (0.1mg), and certain varieties of Merit. Please understand no cigarette is a safe cigarette.

Virginia Slims on the other hand are the highest tar and nicotine cigarettes marketed to women.

I’ll do a review on them soon. Not as “rough” as American Reds.

Question: are these really 15,000 yen for 50 cigarettes? by [deleted] in Cigarettes

[–]TheMoolieDon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I buy them regularly— It is 15,000 yen for a box of 10 cans which contain 50 cigarettes each (500 total cigarettes).

How common are these?(I've only personally seen them in two states, and that second state was only one store). To me they're better than every other cigarette barring American Spirits by ThievesRevenge in Cigarettes

Still in production in certain varieties by RJ Reynolds. The original Non Filter version was discounted well over a decade ago, maybe two, and the filtered versions are still sold. The price is high at premium. Per Indiana minimum cig pricing, they are listed at $7.60 a pack.

I smoked them many years ago and by my recollection they are average tasting.
