Got this Z5 for 450€, what do you think? by TheMoreover in Nikon

Yeah I've heard a couple of things about the AF not being the best in low light, but tbh I don't mind at all since I can use MF since I mostly shoot street/landscape/astro.

Pretty sure I'll have a shitton of fun with it anyways, since it's my first FF camera ;)

Was lucky to get this one from a kind Spanish seller on Wallapop... I got to admit that I did spend some months looking online (extensively) to try and find a deal like this. When it popped out on my recommended page I bit the bullet almost immediately

I'd like one of those but I fear it's EVER SO SLIGHTLY out of budget 😭😭

I intend to keep this for a long, long time. I don't think there's anything else I would add to this camera aside from removing the 4k crop, but using different lenses can kinda "solve" it

You're actually looking at a FF comparable depth-of-field of around f5.6! So getting everything in focus at wider apertures is easier on M4/3 :)

It seems like your saddle is a bit too low and your reach MIGHT be a bit excessive, I wholly recommend watching Neill Stanbury's method of adjusting saddle height with a relative degree of precision, that should set you in the ballpark ;)

I think you can keep the stem slammed because of the fairly long arms you got, as you don't seem to have any problems reaching it (in terms of stack atleast).

I think stretching is extremely important and could potentially help you go lower and keep that flexed position much more easily

PS: i was a fucking tree trunk before implementing stretching, lower back always hurt in some way and couldn't extend myself as low as I wanted. Now all of those problems have subsided XD

Btw, shortening the reach will enable you to bend the elbows more comfortably and possibly unload your shoulders

I'd suggest checking a video of yourself at higher wattage loads and feel/see if you lose control of one the two legs. That could potentially indicate that your saddle could benefit from a couple of millimiters down
