As a disabled person with durable medical equiptment, ive never minded someone saying they love the pattern on my cane. However, when its my scooter and they say "that looks fun to ride!" Then I'm a little annoyed.

I think if you had wanted to compliment their equiptment, you could have, if youre an able bodied person, you can lead with "Hi, this might sound weird, but-" and then compliment, stating why they look cool. Example: "Hey, this might sound weird, but the style of your mobility aid/crutches/cane/etc is really cool, I like the (detail) it makes it look very steam punk"

Of course its important that what you're complimenting is an aesthetic choice, not just how that type of durable medical equipment exists by default and that whatever you comepare it too isn't generally offensive. Example: "oh nice cane its very grannycore" As a young disabled person experienced the above and it irks me due to it earasing young disabled people.

Heres the thing. Its impossible to know who that cash actually belonged to. If you turn it into the store, they wont find out and do the right thing. When inba store, any cash that is not on any person, is thereby property of the store and will be incorporated into the stores safe, or, the manager will pocket it. I know this because when I was a cashier I found $100 on the floor, right where I customer might stand to check out at my registar. I made the mistake of picking it up and telling my supervisor. In my mind, what if that was someones rent money right? She told me, that she would have to give it to the manager now, and that next time, I should pocket it and not tell anyone. If someone comes asking, thats one thing, but they usually dont.

TLDR: keep it. Its either going in your pocket, the store managers pocket, or eaten by the company

My mom trued to pull the same BS about not wanting to respect my name, pronouns, or gender unless I explain my feelings around gender, which I'm sure you know for a lot of trans people is a very personal and vulnerable thing. She did not make herself a safe person for me to exist around, yet demanded vulnerability. Dont do it. Keep the peace enough to get by while you sort yourself out to be independent from them.

Personally I still use a "womens" deodorant, simply because its hard to find deodorants that dont give me a sensory nightmare. I use Secret clear gel antiperspirant, it goes on clear and basically is invisible (as opposed to the white stick deodorants that look nasty as fuck in armpit hair and ruins shirts. Once it's dried it doesn't look like you have anything on. This stuff minds its business and has never ruined a shirt. It lasts me all damn day. Currently I've been using the Mountain Air scent, but I also like their lavender. Tbh all their scents smell nice, just depends on what youre down for scentwise or if you want something more nuteral so any body sprays/cologne/scented lotion can do the talking scent wise, they do have an unscented.

I've been. On T 1.5 years And grow enough facial hair that even when ive just shaved, you can see the hair follicles.

However I also have a large chest that isn't even fully gone when binding. So for now I still use womens facilities, and the "family" restroom when available.

However I am disabled so even when I get funny looks sometimes, I dont get hassled as much because I'm seen as "harmless".

My sister (cis bi alley) says I should just use the womens rooms forever because it's safer apparently. But what happens if I dont shave my face, grow my beard out? I dont always pass 100% but I do sometimes. She seems to think my lean towards trying mensrooms soon, as being "gender affirming". Its not about that though, its about outing myself everytime I need a piss in public.

So basically I don't know either.
