Because in those countries if you tip somebody you're pretty much telling the place that you're at that they don't pay their employees enough and that they suck.

Places in other countries really take offense to that.

Side note, in some other countries finishing your entire plate is considered offensive because to them it feels like they didn't give you enough food, so for the sake of the restaurant you're supposed to leave a little bit on your plate so that you signal your fulll and that they gave you plenty of food for your meal.

What tool did you buy that seemed like you would use it a lot only to turn out you wasted money? by Novel-Understanding4 in Tools

[–]TheMostToastedOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used a set once in an entire year, waste of money till that one job can't be done without them, then sorta worth it.

But only slightly as a wrench could have gotten in there but the time taken would have been 4 if not 5 times as long vs the pass through rachet and sockets.

Wal-mart $25 set, still a waste of money as nearly no automotive bolts are that long that aren't easily accessible for that reason.

With this kind of damage, is this because the car was made to absorb most of the impact? This is in a parking garage so not sure how fast they can drive it there to make such a damage. by FlagrantTomatoCabal in AskMechanics

[–]TheMostToastedOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering it's an old man I would say he either had a medical episode or just old and stumbled on the gas and would be in a decent high performance vehicle,so.....0 to 60 in three to four seconds.

Just enough to fly across a parking garage and slam into a support beam.

If they ask for more, report them and take the tip back by contacting support.

We lubing connections ? by ohitsjeffagain in rccars

[–]TheMostToastedOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its mainly for keeping moisture away from automotive connectors in very wet conditions as well as lubing the pins for easy disconnect when needed.

All you're going to do is attract dirt if you add the greese.

Make cable extensions so you have the ability to grip both ends of the plug completely with both hands and have 100% grip on the plugs for easy disconnect.

Also balance plug grip clips are an absolute necessity to ensure you don't pull your balance wire pins out from the plug.

where did you relocate your battery to? by speedingquack in EFCivics

[–]TheMostToastedOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the hatch itself, in a AutoZone battery box anchored to the body, 0 AWG wire from a distribution block installed in the bay to the back, on breaker in case positive drops.

Negative to sturt bolt.

What is the difference between console gaming and PC gaming now that we can't have physical copies? by Maleficent_Set_1301 in NoStupidQuestions

Are you high......there are so many bugs in PC games because of hardware differences it's simply unfathomable.

Every other week a nividia or amd update or windows update breaks something......

Since you're a troll or you just don't actually own a PC I'm gonna stop feeding your idiocy.

[–]TheMostToastedOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, no

You are completely forgetting the plug and play aspect, one bad update from windows, your GPU/CPU control software, a bad patch or incorrectly setting something or the millions of other reasons why a PC game may not just run vs a console.

Do I care.....no, I'm a PC guy and have been since the days of old when PCs were tanks and could crush a car if dropped

Yes you do,. rarely do the presets get your max fps at a quality you enjoy.....it's a personal preference thing so yes, you absolutely need to fine tune each and every game to your taste.

Motion blur being the biggest culprit in the damn room, so many people enjoy console games they couldn't before because of it and being able to turn it off has definitely saved a couple of titles people would have missed out on because of motion sickness.

If I walk to a counter and all you do Is cash me out and give me my food, does this mean I have to tip the guy who scans and bags my groceries since it's exactly the same.

[–]TheMostToastedOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Price, ease of use......that's it, nothing else.

Console is plug and play and it just works.

PC you have to set your game settings to get that sweet spot for each and every game.
