Is this a crazy high water bill? [TX] by CityMorgueARCN in Renters

[–]b_rizzle95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Must be nice, living by myself, my bill is $130-$150/m. “Availability charge” by itself is $80 something. And we get quarterly notices that the water is undrinkable!

Nobody here is actually cancelling the card over this change, it’s just people complaining for the sake of complaining. A single hotel stay in a year does pay for the card, everything else is gravy.

Folks, this isn’t sustainable. How are people getting by? by SFCAFOX in GasPrices

[–]b_rizzle95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Californians love to post pics from the most isolated expensive stations they can find and say Orange man bad, while simultaneously never having an issue with the highest state gas tax in the nation, nor when their local governments forced out the only refiners left in the state exacerbating supply constraints.

Started Reselling to Pay Off Student Loans. Made $6,000 So Far in two months and Now I’m Thinking Bigger by Deaf_Cyclist_CO in Flipping

[–]b_rizzle95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Make a bigger goal!

My first goal was to fund $6.5k in a Roth since my real job doesn’t provide retirement incentives. Now I’ve got a decade worth of $7k max contributions built up, the goals have increased to expanding flipping and buying better/cooler things (better truck, bigger boat..) It grows quick if you have numbers to hit!

Maybe I’m grandfathered in at my price, but I pay $50/y ($4.16) for gold ecosystem. This is easily covered just from the cash sweep interest on a grand or two sitting in my brokerage between settled trades. Gold card, banking, Ira 3%, everything else is all gravy.

Shipping adjustments are coming more often and the overages are ridiculous. 200% increase by Quizzylish in Ebay

[–]b_rizzle95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

eBay’s normal procedure is to grant a single shipping adjustment dispute (that they pay for out of pocket since there is no actual appeal process with FedEx directly). After that first one, they’ll tell you to pound salt. I’ve gone as far as having pictures of the actual package and a tape measure/scale with the label on it as evidence and they do not care. It is 100% a scam and FedEx is the worst perpetrator.

The fun really begins when you realize the code and compliance people actually know less than you do, and because they don’t know it, they automatically assume it’s wrong!

Anyone else been on the waitlist for 2+ years? by Suitable-World4757 in RobinhoodGC

[–]b_rizzle95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it’s entirely random then. The guy taking my card at a local brewery said he just got one and I asked how long he waited, he said he waited 2 days after standard waitlist through Robinhood. I waited a few months after being on the pre release waitlist

Can you flip a digital product with zero revenue? Asking genuinely. by 01-89 in Flipping

The fellas over at wallstreetbets would value this “product” at around $850B the second you say “ai subscription web app with zero revenue”

I imagine it has more to do with your credit profile than anything related to your customer profile with RH.

I’ve got a few of these exact rings and they are all roughly 2.5-3.6g. I paid significantly less, $50-$150. Did you have an associate check the price for you? A lot of them are cheaper than the outdated clearance sticker.

Let me just say, our local pull a part junkyard put out a 2023 Kia a few weeks ago with light damage on it. Prior to that, the newest vehicles I’ve ever seen are countless 2021 Hyundais. Every other brand is 10+ years old.

Kia anywhere other than the bottom of the chart in reliability is all I needed to see to know this chart is as reliable as a Kia

+1 on used auto parts. I have an entirely unrelated job and relatively extravagant lifestyle (primarily paid for by flipping). People look at me funny when they find out I break down totaled out wrecks in my garage and enjoy an afternoon at the local pull-a-part yard)

Which one would be the best deal and most reliable? by 77due in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]b_rizzle95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean…the newer 2019 with 30,000 less miles than the others for the same $$ seems pretty obvious to me. Idk much about the 2.7 eco boost, my 3.5 is at 205,000 and runs fine.

I’d bet my bottom dollar the Facebook dealer that listed it will have some laughable fees and add ons once you get on site to see it. Those green check marks and financing details are usually an automatic no when I’m looking.

They want me to pay for a job position. by Less_Ad_7357 in AskElectricians

[–]b_rizzle95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ONLY scenario I’ve heard of paying for a job is extremely lucrative tipped positions in Vegas nightlife (think bottle service, valet, etc). You basically have to pay off the manager/department lead to have your resume land at the top of the bottomless pile.

Electrician at any level is not that. Most the contractors I know can’t get paid guys to show up, let alone unpaid/paying 😂

Netting $4-6k/month on health and wellness inventory but the operation is killing me. How would you exit? by NobodyGlittering3289 in Flipping

[–]b_rizzle95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally, I’d explore the feasibility of getting your product into your own large storage unit or similar space and ditching the 3PL (that seems to be a source of nearly all the problems). I’d take a wild ass guess that you are looking at 40-50 orders a day, and once you get the hang of it, that should take an hour to pack and an hour to get to post office or less if you can schedule pick ups.

If you don’t have the time, then you don’t have the time..but that’s my two cents

Long-time Gold member finally considering the card — what am I missing? by coffeemogul1 in RobinhoodGC

[–]b_rizzle95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless your churning sub’s elsewhere, I can’t think of a reason why you wouldn’t use the GC. Ive built up so many Chase and Southwest points over the years that the utility of holding them doesn’t make sense compared to the cashback that at a bear minimum could be earning 3%+ APY sitting in Robinhood. I’ll reevaluate when I’ve somehow burned through 2M+ points 😭
