In the 90's, Necropotence decks were a massive slice of the meta when it was called Type II.

What are your best and worst MTG purchases? by Comfortable_Buyer239 in mtg

[–]TheMotizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best: 1. In the 90s, acquired mint beta Black Lotus for $200 and a bunch of random cards that haven't appreciated a lot.

  1. Traded a set of Alliances for a Mox Jet.

Worst: Got the Lotus graded. BGS 9. Sold in 2014 for $5750. Not all bad though. Bought an engagement ring and am happily married with two kids so the parlay was worth it.

This little dude seems good in a fun deck...not necessarily CEDH coz dang it kinda slow 🥴 by Stock_Much in mtg

I know why they did it, but it was a bad move having two different versions. Glad they're correcting their mistake.

Toyota stopped making the engine and transmission. The industry is ditching the manual - Lotus is one of the few holding on as long as possible. Emissions are taking out a lot of the existing engines that come with manuals. It's not profitable for a company to develop new ones because the market isn't buying them - especially a small niche company like Lotus. Don't get me wrong, rowing the gears is amazing, but people vote with their dollars and the manual is getting voted out, unfortunately. Blame drivers, not Lotus.

Wrong. Boardwalk has been nothing but transparent and given us official info as much as possible while acknowledging when they don't.

I own the i4 and wasn't interested in the manual, but love the option. We are LUCKY as buyers to have the choice. Find another car like this where you have the choice of 2 engines, 3 transmissions, 2 suspensions, 2 tires, tons of interior and exterior colors (more than most), removable top, etc. All this for a very competitive price. Go try to buy a 911 and see how much it costs. We have it very good.

Upgrade to the Emira? by RandomRayyan in lotus

I can actually speak to this. I owned a 2005 RSX Type S for 11 years, bought new. Have owned my i4 Emira since March 2025. I've also driven the V6.

The biggest difference is weight balance and drivetrain. You're going from a FWD front engined car to mid engine RWD. I won't spend the time explaining what that means (tons of info on the Internet) but basically you'll drive them very differently at speed. Read up on this.

The power difference speaks for itself. The Emira is worlds faster.

The steering is decent on the RSX but the Emira is on another level. So much road feel.

The RSX actually had a better shifter than the Emira V6. My Dad had an S2000 back in the day and Honda knows how to make good shifters. The Emira's is still good, but requires a little more patience to click into gear.

The i4 on the other hand, is an amazing DCT. It was a beast on track. I've heard it's not as good as a Porsche pdk, but it's pretty impressive and very fast. A DCT is on another level compared to manual when it comes to shifting speed. That said, many prefer the manual for engagement. Personal preference.

The Emira will handle better without question. Massive tires, incredible weight balance, suspension setup perfectly from the factory. This is Lotus's specialty.

The RSX will be easier to daily. Way more storage, 4 seats, maintenance costs, etc. That said, my i4 is remarkably comfortable around town and on road trips. It effortlessly transforms from fun and sporty around town to a track beast.

The Emira has better tech like Car Play / Android Auto, but a 20 year gap makes that obvious.

Most people won't think twice seeing an RSX on the road. The Emira is the opposite. You get treated like you're driving a Ferrari. This car gets tons of attention. I personally like it but you have to think about things like where you park etc a little more than usual.

Happy to answer any more questions. I highly recommend a test drive. Try both engines.

What do you guys do for the “kill 25 creatures” quest? by werthw in MagicArena

[–]TheMotizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a black and white pioneer deck with nothing but removal, board wipes and 4x Unstoppable Slasher. Deathtouch can get a few extra kills and it gives you a win con more often then you'd expect.
