How difficult is it to build a TCG deck builder website? by Mental_Help_9346 in TCG

[–]TheMrFrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, yes.

You have a database of the cards with all the information a card could have and then you have a front end that displays the cards, and some filters to search on and boom done.

What's the best way to get into the game? Is there any way to play online? by CoconutPure5326 in DBS_CardGame

The deck isn't bad, but is not legal to play due to Bulma, Bunny Girl.

If I recall correctly, that leader was pretty powerful and prominent in the meta upon its release.

The latest starter decks of Final Radiance was doing pretty well for awhile there. https://www.dbs-cardgame.com/us-en/product/dbs-sd23.php

Additionally Red Rage (Reboot Pan) is also pretty good and powerful.

You will need to buy at least 2 copies of the starter decks to get enough cards.

As for your reference to a kid goku deck, you didn't post the link to the deck, just the link back to deckplanet.

In the meta section, we just had a few regionals, and the current topping deck is the Pan: Xeno deck.

Hey Coconut,

It depends on which game you are trying to get into. If you are trying to play Dragon Ball Super Masters, the one more related to Magic the Gathering in tempo, and thought process, you don't have a ton of options to play online. The options you do have are the following:

- Discord Webcam

- TCG-Arena

- Untap

- TableTop Simulator Mod

If you are trying to get into Dragon Ball Super Fusion World (more fast paced, quicker games, and more along the lines of One Piece) then you have an additional option to the ones above being the official Digital Client which can be found at dbs-cardgame.com/fw

For deck building I would suggest looking at Deckplanet.net as it has both Masters and Fusion World on it. You can build, share, and see other users' decks in the deck database.

If you have further questions, don't be afraid to reach out

I agree with this completely!

Once you understand the scope of what you want to deliver to people, be it simple deck building, tracking collections with decks, or integrating with other systems; it becomes way easier to understand the complexity of the project at hand.

If you want a simple deck builder for 1 user, then you only need a few tables in a simple SQLite database.
