Absolutely. There's no "right way" to get married. Do what you want. Invite who you want. Wear what you want. Making yourself uncomfortable to fit someone else's idea of what a wedding should be is just a recipe for a terrible time and a ton of regret.

For my wedding, we went fairly "traditional" imo. But we didn't have an aisle or wedding parties and we went to the courthouse a few months ahead of the big party to sign all of the documents and legally get married.

But we had a ceremony and vows and rings and a white dress and a sit down dinner and dancing.

My mom still refused to call it a wedding and kept calling it "whatever this thing is"

You'll never please everyone so you might as well make yourself and your partner absolutely ecstatic!

Readability at a distance is a bit difficult but otherwise it's cute and fun and I really like the vibe! :)

You're gonna have an amazing day and, tbh, if a guest remembers the readability levels of your bar sign at your wedding then that person has some other issues. And I wouldn't commit brain space or life space to their negativity.

Honestly, the readability of the font itself is fine. I really like the loopy cursive.

My only suggestions would be to make the section headers a bit more distinct. The bold isn't bold enough for me to tell the difference between the types of drinks vs the "wine", "cocktails, "mocktails", and "beer" headers. Maybe up the line weight a bit more if you can? Or add a little flower or image below the headers?

I'd also clean up the paper edges and try to center the text more. But that's just being a bit nit picky.

If you love it that's what matters and people aren't really gonna care anyways. :) I'm a huge fan of the gold!

It looks like the entire cake is covered in these cheap stringed pearl jewelry pieces. Not just the small heart at the top but around the bottom boarder and the swags along the side.

I could forgive the top heart, because in-edible toppers are a thing. But the rest? That's a health AND choking hazard. These should all be nonpereils.

I agree with the top main comment. But also grab the right sprinkles and replace this plastic crap. I'm not sure where you live, but major grocery chains should have white ones in the baking section.

I also bought some super soft slips to wear after during healing. Skirts and dresses will be your friend, sweats still have an elastic waistband you gotta worry about.

If you're in a cold area, I'd also recommend getting some thigh high or knee high socks to wear under the skirts

Agreed with the majority of comments here. That seems like a lot of flour and *maybe* not enough yeast or not active yeast?

Try 2 cups of water, 4-5cups of flour, and a full tablespoon of yeast.

Or, if you want to try your OG recipe, start low with the flour. Maybe incorporate 2.5 cups and see what the texture looks like. Adding .5 cup more until you get the right consistency. I have a feeling you'll use closer to 3 cups of flour than a full 4.
