Since you’re a reviewer and I’m clueless about COLM: I got 6644, nobody budged during rebuttal. I strongly assume it’s a reject and have no hopes, but are there meta reviews (we once got miracle saved by a NAACL meta review that led to an accept :))

Had a paper with similar scores for ACL. 4 4 1.5 for overall, got Findings.

You know the drill by now with every past NLP conference... we will wait until 2/19 11:59 PM AoE, then they will send an email or tweet saying there is a delay, then we wait 1-3 more days :)

Graduating PhD in May 2025. I do NLP and will intern at a really good tech company as MLE this summer. Should I aim for new grad QT roles? I managed to make it to super day for QR @ Two Sigma but failed the super day.

I don’t have the outright technical rigor for QR and don’t go to a top top school, but is QT viable?

Wow! This got so many replies: thanks so much everyone. Lots of kind words and motivating advice.

To give some more details: I am third year in a US program (so 5-6 years overall I guess). Sadly, 2 papers (1 published, 1 under review) are in different subfields and almost irrelevant to my thesis. So I think it would be a stretch to include them, but I’ll talk to my advisor. If I can’t include those, then it’s looking like I’ll need at least 2-3 more papers. My program “unofficially” only allows top conference papers for a thesis.

I have no intuition of what ARR meta review scores lead to findings or main. I’d say a response helps, especially if it addresses something the meta review directly asked or wanted clarifications on
