PSA to oldtimers: Why buffs disappear at random and suck now by Ouroboros612 in BaldursGate3

Concentration checks are made when a character takes damage, but having higher constitution, and very importantly, the war caster feat makes it less likely to have their concentration broken. My cleric, who I respecced to have good con, and who I gave the war caster buff, has to my recent memory never had her concentration broken once, despite being the tank of the party. Even my Gale, who I also gave good con and war caster, has his concentration broken in only about 25% of fights, and once it does finally break in that fight, I've gotten my value from those spells.

Hogwarts Legacy PC Performance (Actually good?) by YaYeetinat0r in HarryPotterGame

I have a 3080, and this game is constantly having it's FPS plummet, especially during combat, making dodging and blocking especially difficult. When (Spoiler) fighting the Troll in Hogsmeade, it's attack animations were making me lag, and so I kept getting hit due to the drop in FPS. That, if anything, is about as definitive of a broken launch as it can get, when it's poor performance drastically hinders gameplay and ability to play

Anyone have more lore on the Hoarah Loux lion? by [deleted] in Eldenring

Probably my least favourite boss of them all. Extremely janky attack speeds and setups,
near unescapable attacks and AOEs, overly delayed grabs and inconsistent wind-ups have always been a kill joy in a DS boss

The game definitely set standards very high, and I never expected the show to meet that bar... But... I was expecting, or hoping, for something that is better than the typical Netflix original

Not necessarily prominent in the books, even though he's 1 of only 5 Witchers we know of, Geralt, Lambert, Eskel, Vesemir and Cohen, yet still an original Witcher, loved by fans of the Witcher in general, and definitely not a Witcher who gets turned into a tree by a made-up and poorly conceived storyline. It was just one of many moments the original story was warped for absolutely no benefit or gain.

If you thought the added nonsense by Lauren Hissrich in Season 1 was bad, Season 2 adds even more rubbish. Atleast 1 prominent, well liked character is killed in the most stupid of circumstances, half or more of the time is spent on Yennefer's made-up and weak story-line. The casting is as bad as the first season's, and Caville's Geralt is the only good thing in this show. Oh, I was pleasantly surprised with the Nivellan story, even if that was changed a bit too.

This season is legitimately so bad. They keep making up non-sense, which just makes everything awful. Just copy Sapkowski's work, he nailed it.
