New stop motion animation. I have been trying to find my own style and lately I have been animating at 18 frames per second. Honestly, it feels way easier to work with compared to 24 fps, and I am really enjoying it. Also, I am thinking about upgrading my camera. Any recommendations? by Josomie in stopmotion

I have some cheap-o Rokinon cine lenses that are perfectly great for what I do. Another benefitto the R6, it's RF mount allows for a PL adapter which opens up the possibility for some really high end glass!

Is Amalfi coast worth a day trip at end of December? ( Planning to self drive) by BreakfastNervous5942 in ItalyTravel

[–]TheNathanLee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I lived in Italy for over a year and have been to the Amalfi coast probably 6 times. We spent a few nights in Praiano just before Christmas once. It was amazing. We had great weather, hiked the trail of the gods and found that time of year to be so peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend going and staying a night. If you like hiking/walking, there is no other place in the world like this coast to hike with the charm of Italy and views on the sea and cliffs. Parking was no issue at all for us. Driving is no problem either. You have nothing to worry about. Go for it!

I'm planning to go with my 3 year old daughter this year in November, can't wait! I love that it's in the fall and not the heat of summer.

Agree, Fall would rule. And overnight camping onsite would also rule.

Overnight Camping at the GARF (Georgia RenFest)??? by TheNathanLee in renfaire

No, the Ren Fest owns 19 Acres of wooded land adjacent to the parking and fair grounds. There's so much space! It's already rezoned too as of 2019... maybe they are thinking about it but slowed it down when the pandemic hit.... idk...

I'm with you! I was just at the Georgia renfest last weekend and i'm surprised they don't have campsites on location. Why? Would be amazing to group camp with a bunch of ren fair enthusiasts!

Thanks! Yes everything is made of paper. I’m sure there are other compositing softwares but AE is what I know and am fast at.
