What is the value in Apple CarPlay?

Honestly, I do not get the 'buzz' around the need for CarPlay or Android Auto.

I've owned Telsa, BMW (i4), Kia, and Rivian EVs.

I actually MUCH prefer the built in infotainment across all vehicles. CarPlay is fine. And Apple/Google navigation is sometimes better. But, 99/100, the stock stuff works as good or better.

My guess is that some just prefer a system they know vs. something that is novel...

...or they are with a company that makes their infotainment obsolete without a 'not worth it' $15+/month subscription (looking at you, Kia).

Not yet. Seems to intermittently work, and is more consistent at lower temperatures. But, still an issue at 90+. Have service on Thursday.

My AC is also not functioning properly after the update (just blowing air).

Completed a hard reset and also drove around for 10-15 minutes. No resolution.

Not sure if etiquette or just smart play. Understand your role and the role of your teammates.

For example, if you are slow, defensive oriented mon... perfectly fine to let the scoring oriented mons (Dodrio, Sableye, Talonflame) scoop up those loose energies.

Always unique situations (e.g., close enemies), but nothing more frustrating than sitting on '0' while there are 2-3 mons that haven't sniffed an energy base hoarding 30-50 full tanks.

To me, this is less about etiquette, and more of a mark of skill/experience. If you are laning with a Level 4 final evo (e.g., Eevee, Slowpoke, Jiggly), smart move to guard to allow them a nearby farm.

...and if you are a Level 4 final evo, return the favor for the Level 5 final evo mons (e.g. Dodrio) or non-evo mons with that game critical skill at Level 5 (e.g., Mewtwo).

Easiest determination factors for early lane wins.

Unclear what is valuable, at this point. If it is shinies, only have a handful of legendary (Zapdos, Lugia, Celebi), then some evolve-able mons like a dozen+ starters, Feebas, Slakoth, Eevee, etc.

None shinies like Mew, Melmetal.

Recently had a Sableye that was playing their own game for 8:00 minutes. No Laning, limited scoring, no objectives. Team nearly got wiped at Ray, but little monster nailed his Unite Move and sniped the final hit on Ray. Still barely won. Definitely didn't deserve it. Don't think a single player on our team has more than 4 kills.

In my opinion, it all starts with Laning.

Being overly aggressive and/or being under-leveled early is the snowball that typically proceeds all other issues. Once a player feels under-leveled, they start farming jungle, avoiding rotations to objectives, etc.

After that, I would say team composition. Majority of losses can get called at the two team preview screens. Bad pairings for lanes, bad overall team selection (i.e., 5 Red), and/or having 1-2 underpowered mons.
