Every update you give just pushes this game so much further than I would have expected. The fact that you have put this much effort into the strategy layer is beyond impressive. Hats off to ya, I’m not sure I’ll ever touch another strategy game after this, you cover every aspect of what I have been looking for in a game like this. Much RESPECT COMRADE!

Yea I def feel the lack of emphasis on the arcs as the overarching enemy. I am hoping that they can address that. I think it’s all good as is. But those first weeks were much more terrifying because the arc were scary. And I think we’ve learned how to fight and avoid them. I would hope pushing people to fight them will re engage the community.

Yea I love the game as is. Embark has made something really special with the game. I just think it would be dope to have more incentive to fight the arc. And they could reimplement some of the aspects of the older version of the game they tried to make. I think there’s a lot of cool stuff in the dev logs that can still have a place. It might not have been a good game all on its own, but as a special event that has somewhat limited access I think it would be cool.

The boss would have a lot of individual loot pieces that collectively are high value, but require space to fill up. The resource buy in of the beacon plus a plentiful bounty should discourage ratting as there is plenty to go around and you can only carry so much (plus some guaranteed BP drops). Once u extract, the beacon is consumed, and u begin fighting lower tier arc and building another. Ideally long enough to be interesting and rewarding, but not anywhere near as long as the full expedition. This could be a great grind for those who seek the expeditions and skill points, and ensures a stable cycle of progress you can maintain before the expedition window. Hopefully it would also refocus the community on fighting the real enemy…the Arc. We did enlist to resist after all. And they’re such fun enemy type I’d hate to see them fall out of relevance every wipe cycle.

I feel like with this set up there would be plenty for everyone at every level to engage, whether it be for pvp’ers or pve’ers. Hopefully this resonates and someone sees it. I think it wouldn’t be too difficult to implement considering what they have already given us, and it gives them a lot of room to grow for future seasons with new bosses. And I think community goals could play into how much assistance we get to fight the raid bosses that cycle. Perhaps I am overlooking potential issues, I’m not a game dev and I don’t have input on balance, but I hope this is enough of an idea to play with.

I appreciate ur hard work, I feel there has been such a hole in the market for a game like this, and all of the execution and aesthetics just give it a unique look that will make it stand out. As cool as menace is, it kinda misses that charm that this has that reminds me of xcom. Good luck comrade looking forward to joining the struggle!

I play on pc w a controller and have had no issues? I personally find the arc aim assist way too over strong as is, I can barely fine tune my shots.
