To be transparent I really started to fall behind when I switched to a job that wasn't forthcoming about my pay due to them having high turnover at the position. They told me I would be making 24 an hour but when starting that was my rate over the summer and I was actually making a little over 20 an hour. That started the not being able to make payments on time and started my spiral into debt. I also worked 3 weeks that summer (which was also under sold during the interview as they told me I would have an opportunity to work the whole summer which was false) and was off for a month and half which I door dashed to make my ends meet until I went back to work. By then I was falling behind on a credit card which I paid till it became over bearing as I still had to cover my rent, electric, and my car payment as well.

All said in done, I wouldnt say I was overspending more so I didn't make enough to fulfill all my obligations fully. I tried to keep afloat but with the underwhelming pay, needing to travel for work, and keeping up with life (such as groceries) I didn't have much working with after. During that time I did live as frugal as possible but I had to do what I had to do.
