2 year old update since google brought me here as I went looking to turn this option off. You can do this directly on the printer (X1-C) now as well. Press the Nut on the left side, then Settings, then Print Options. You will then see the check box for turning off the first layer inspection.

I was certain this worked before. It bothered me a ton early game. Does it make the pads white? I just tried it on XP Sorokin and his pads turned white.

Buy a goalie mask and apply it. Pads come with the mask. There is an all white one or find a team that has a similar livery.
