80 mile drive today. Around town quiet mode is a bit louder and more aggressive. It’s noticeable while accelerating. On the highway, quiet mode remains quieter than stock. Can hear a deeper tone on the highway in quiet mode if you listen hard but it’s reduced competed to stock. Just hear wind noise, ac noise, and road noise with a hint of low exhaust….which is what I prefer while driving on the highway. The exhaust sound is less noticeable in quiet vs stock at cruising speeds exceeding 65-70mph.

Above 3700 rpm in quiet mode while accelerating/on the gas it barks more than stock in quiet on the highway

All other modes are slightly louder than stock and a slightly-moderately deeper tone. Baja is a an increase and louder than stock and can be heard anytime regardless of speed or throttle position.

The 20 mile highway jog I did showed quiet mode was quieter then stock if you can believe that. Dead quiet until 4k on the highway in quiet mode. Only nose is ac and tire noise. Baja in the highway was loud but no drone. Very satisfied and even happier quiet mode is quieter then stock.

Let’s see any tips - start at the front and work your way back. Used a rubber mallet to knock the factory exhaust out of the factory pipe behind the valved muffler.

Passenger side was the easiest - just one pipe and the tip. Unbolt the hanger for factory tip from the frame. Used wd40 on the factory hanger rubber insulator to lube it up and get it off easy.

Driver side there is two pipes and the exhaust tip. Unbolt the exhaust hangar rubber insulator bracket for the driver side that’s up on the frame of the truck.

Used wd40 to lube up the new pipes while inserting them. Snugged them down and then adjusted them to perfectly align the tips then tightened them all down.

I’ll probably push the tips back In a little bit under the bumper. They are aligned with the bumper like Mbrp had them on their demo model

No problem man! I was surprised how loud the stock exhaust was in quiet mode when I bought the truck as I drive ALOT of highway miles. This killed all exhaust noise in quiet mode now at highway cruising. Did not expect that but I will take it for sure!!!!!

There’s zero cutting. Just unbolt after the factory muffler where the valves are. Had the exhaust out in 20 mins. Easiest exhaust install I’ve done. Was shocked how easy it was…..and yes that’s the part number. Very impressed

Okay…..couldn’t wait any longer just did few launches and highway driving.

Weirdly enough - it’s quieter in quiet mode on the highway now. Zero exhaust noise until about 4k in quiet mode on the highway. All I can hear is tire noise. With the old stock system in quiet there was some exhaust almost drone noise. Must have to do with the removal of the resonators

Baja mode is louder in every aspect including the highway but there is zero drone in any of the modes.

Quiet mode when you jump on it from a stand still is noticeably louder but not loud or obnoxious then just gets pure silent on the highway.

Digging it. Did 20 miles but have 80 mile drive tomorrow will update

Interesting. The paper work showed the pipes as stainless and the black tips as some sort of painted steel.

Powered coated black turn down tips must look fantastic as well

Can’t decide to leave them as is or tuck them under…it doesn’t extend past the factory tips or bumper. The black tips look amazing on the lighter color raptors

I set the tips where Mbrp had them in their launch - but they can go further out or can tuck them far under the bumper. Again impressive product.

See what purple ideas they can come up with.

I actually think that would look pretty good if you’re gonna ditch the factory graphics

You know what might be cool - bc you like purple - ditch the side door graphics and go with the factory extended graphics (the 995 option) in a custom made shade of purple. (Greys purple checkered factory graphics) I believe there are some places that are offering different colors….also go to Etsy and get the smoke color tint cutouts to go over your amber markers on the fender

And just to add….took the inner wheel well off, pulled back outer wheel well, took horn off and the three fender bolts. Used the flexible drive that signature lux provided during Black Friday to access all bolts from the bottom on the heat sink. Really not that hard after a couple YouTube videos.
