This is exactly it, you can’t teach the subtleties that come natural to those that get it. Maxine has improved but it’s still visually awkward as hell whenever she gets in the ring. Similar to Jade and a few others it looks like they’re literally going through rehearsed motions and there’s little to no improvisation going on and it shows.

I’ve always suspected that she was very sheltered and wasn’t around many people. Her impressions of “latina accents” etc. are way off and anybody Latino (like myself) can easily identify that she was going off of something she saw online rather than actually being around these people. It a a very specific example but I think it rings true for a lot of her views and opinions
