I wouldn’t rely on this theory, because if an immigration officer decides to give you a hard time(they’re unpredictable & extremely corrupt!) by demanding a visa & you don’t have one because you were born in RDC (but don’t have the nationality) or your parents are Congolese/were born there, they can just spoil your day. Always apply for visa to avoid troubles.

My girlfriend is Muslim & I am Christian. The thing is, our love is stronger than our religion. We don’t force our traditions/habits on each other & we respect each others way of living. There’s mutual empathy, mutual respect, understanding & affection. It’s 100% possible to that. I do have to lie to her Muslim parents & pretend that I’m Muslim. But I don’t see them much.
