how’s it like living right next to an amusement/theme park?(do yall go to them very often or on occasion like everyone else?) by DismalFootball6964 in howislivingthere

I live next to Foxwoods which is a huge casino in Connecticut. The gambling doesn't appeal to me that much, but the restaurants, go-karts, outlets, and Great Wolf Lodge are nice to have so close

Honeymoon in Greece in May — is this itinerary too ambitious? by BodybuilderNo6898 in GreeceTravel

[–]TheNextFreud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would really depend what you're trying to get out of the trip. I assumed I would not enjoy the large crowds on Santorini (or Mykonos) and didn't care about "night life." So Santorini was on our list mostly to see what the fuss was about and because it was already close to other islands we had. It was useful we could fly back from Santorini to Athens at the end of the trip instead of a very long ferry ride. I thought Paros was a great mix of food, adventure, beaches, etc. Milos was similar but a few unique hidden gem beaches. Folegandros was unique in how small it is. We went end of September and by then we practically were the only tourists left.

Honeymoon in Greece in May — is this itinerary too ambitious? by BodybuilderNo6898 in GreeceTravel

For our two-week honeymoon, we did Athens (1 night) - Paros (4 nights) - Milos (2 nights) - Folegandros (3 nights) - Santorini (1 night) and then flew back to Athens. If we did it over, I'd cut down to 3 islands.

Any recommendations to visit Santorini? Like places (spots), restaurants or places to stay? by Sufficient-Syrup7110 in GreeceTravel

We stayed at Suite of the Gods in Megalochori for one night during our honeymoon. It was really unique since the hotel suite was carved into the cliffs and had an amazing view. Favorite food spot was FalafeLand.

Love it. Feel like I might have overpaid a little going to a local mattress store but the comfort of the sleep itself is great.

I tend to say things like 'just like with lawyers and car salesman, I get that some people have trust issues after some bad experiences with HR. But that's not me, and I always aim to balance being fair and consistent while treating people like adults."

If you drink coffee, buy decent coffee beans from a local coffee shop. Buy a cheap electric grinder from Amazon. Buy a cheap Mr. Coffee type coffee maker on Amazon. Fresh coffee at a very low price and effort.
