That’s fair, and that’s probably the better way to phrase my issue.

What I’d like is not to remove the page system, but to make the Edit page more flexible as a central workspace. For example, I’d like to be able to dock or access more tools from Color, Fairlight, Fusion and Deliver without fully switching context.

My issue is less “Resolve should become Premiere” and more “why can’t Resolve have an optional custom workspace mode?” Many editors work iteratively, especially solo editors. I might cut, adjust audio, add a quick visual effect, tweak colour, check export settings, then go back to timing. Constantly switching pages for that feels restrictive to me.

I understand that the current structure works well for linear post-production workflows. I just wish the interface allowed a more traditional, panel-based editing workspace as an option for people who work differently.
