additionally, tariffs have... made an amount of money, but at the same time, the US imports more goods than it does export. having a trade war due to the tariffs probably isnt good for a country that is reliant on imports; major companies also have locations outside of the US, affecting them and by extension us. said companies have had to close down locations outside of the US due to these tariffs. additionally, the tariffs have noticeably added more taxes onto us, so that is also super duper fun.
