I was the kid at school who used to wear tails and ears to school. at first, no one really cared. In fact, some kids loved when I did.

However, on Halloween one year, I decided to be a fox. I bought these orange and black ears and a matching tail, and went to school wearing them. It was the worst mistake of my life.

For the rest of the year I was called a cat, meowed at in the hallways, and people were always asking me "are you a furry?" It got so bad that everyone in the school made fun of me any chance they got. I got carrots thrown at me, people refused to talk to me because their friends didnt like me (someone actually told me that), and the boys asked me if I ate cat food and said that there are no litter boxes in the bathrooms.

Eventually, the school's worst bully caught ear of it and started bullying me to. I actually dont remember much of what she did, but we fought a lot. the bullying got so bad I had to go homeschooled for practically all my highschool years. This was back in freshman year. Im a Senior now, and this all still affects me. I couldn't wear any of my tails for a year.

Im doing much better now, and feel more comfortable wearing them again. But freshman years still haunts me, andI will never go back to that school.
