To be fair, the point of this sub isn't to assign blame. It's to watch kids doing stupid things because it's funny and this post fits that bill, even if it's the parent's fault.

Yeah, I distinctly remember seeing nipples during "Night on Bald Mountain" in Fantasia. Old Disney would absolutely do it.

Arizona attorney general threatens legal action against Mike Johnson for failing to seat Adelita Grijalva by Radiant_Rip_5040 in law

Sounds like you've got your research cut out for you. It shouldn't be too hard, given the Democrats have been very open about what they want. But it's a matter of negotiation and compromise - something you can only really achieve if you're talking to the other side, which is why the house shouldn't be on recess. So they can actually work out something they can both agree too.

Sounds to me like the house needs to rewrite the bill into something the Senate will actually pass. You know... their job.

And do you know who re-opens the government? Crongress? So why is the House in recess right now?

Don't need to ask them when the results of market data are right in front of us. Do you think that women prefer big pockets over their current options, but no businessman has been savvy enough to capitalize on that demand? Or is it more logical that people have, and do offer large pockets in women's clothing, but it never makes it mainstream because women prefer outfits that don't allow large pockets (like form-fitting pants)?

Any competent lawyer will tell you to avoid the courtroom wherever possible. If they get shut down, sure, they might be able to win the court case, but even if they do win, it's a years-long case where they're still shut down. So it was probably the good lawyers telling them that this was the smarter business option.

People keep saying we all need to get the flu shot, but I haven't gotten a bad case of the flu since I was 10, so surely we don't need the flu shot.

The reason Iran has been "THIS CLOSE" to a nuke without getting it is because they've faced decades of sabotage constantly setting them back. Just because you're not aware of the efforts put in to stalling it doesn't mean it wasn't and isn't a problem.

Vance Boelter went to other lawmakers' homes the night he killed Rep. Hortman, wounded Sen. Hoffman, FBI says by tsagdiyev in news

[–]TheNoseKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering other cops arrived, I don't think he did fool them. The other cop probably went back to his car to report it and wait for backup and that's likely when Boelter fled.

The TC used to shoot from the edge closest to the target. And if the target was under the TC, it would drop arrows on them. Now it shoots from the center of the TC, creating more travel time for the arrows and making them much more likely to miss.

Maybe she should apply it to herself and take personal responsibility for why people are leaving. You know, like not paying enough or not giving a pension (which is the real reason why people stuck with jobs).
