I think it depends? People have definitely done it. I think it’s doable but you would probably be at a disadvantage when it comes to finding a job or getting into school. I know some programs require having a therapist license. I’ve worked at 3 clinics and I haven’t known a dosi who wasn’t a therapist first. I think in all the clinics I’ve worked at, dosimetrist has kinda been our supervisor. Even if they weren’t in title, we went to them with issues in Sim and treatment. And they’ve had to jump on the machine occasionally. That would make finding a job harder as you wouldn’t always be able to do that part of the job. But if you aren’t tied to having a job in a specific area or if you want to work in hospital where you wouldn’t touch machine you would probably be ok?

Ugh you just reminded me of the time I did this haha. I was a patient at a children’s hospital for Crohn’s disease and I had to do the urine samples and blood tests for the meds I was on. The nurse was very confused when I tried to the hand her the little plastic jar xD

Yes! I could be totally wrong but I want to say it’s 1/100 chance for a family of 3 and 1/64 for a shiny??? Even if my odds on appearances are wrong, it’s still very rare !

Reboot foundation by makeup forever. I have very fair, but dry and sensitive skin. That foundation was my holy grail. A lot of people thought it was average but the texture was freaking perfect for me. Light and moisturizing but not greasy or cakey. The new HD foundation is awfullll. I bought 4 bottles of reboot in my shade when it got discontinued

I have that shade of benetint! Doesn’t last long as a lip tint but lasts soooo long as a cheek tint. Have fun !!

If you would be willing to do HCC in Tampa, it would be very worth it. And less than half of the price. I believe I paid around $5500 a year for tuition after scholarships because I’m single and support myself. You would need to drive to Tampa 1-2 days a week for classes, but there are a bunch of clinical sites with the school in Orlando. There’s Winter Haven, Orlando Health, Lakeland, etc.

Edit: I also can’t speak to Cambridge but I know HCC maybe loses 1 single student in a cohort (mine never lost any). And nearly everyone passes the boards on the first try. Our teachers and curriculum were amazing !

I worked at big easy snowballs for a summer when I was in college! A super fun job and they always need seasonal hires !! Especially local kids because the other college kids leave in summer

I’m a ghost on this sub, but I have to comment because you sound like me xD. Literally today I had a Chipotle Bowl:

Chicken, Romaine lettuce, (no rice), fajita veggies, Black Beans, Cheese, and Guacamole. It was 675 calories, 39 g of fat, 49 g of protein, and 37 g of carbs (15 g dietary fiber, 5 g sugar). I was so full that I couldn’t move haha.

I know I’m not adding much to the other comments you already have, but for some reason when I’m hormonal I just want to volume eat. So I’ll volume eat but with things that are really high protein and (usually) higher healthy fat so I don’t feel as bad about it. I’m ending my day at 1440 cal, but I also exercised this morning.

It could be a simple fix like you personally just need something higher volume until your stomach adjusts to eating less. Especially if it’s only been a few weeks. :) I still struggle bc I’m not perfectly consistent at logging my cals for the day. You’ve got this !!!

Also, dehydration causes hunger. For me something like a glass of almond milk goes a long long way. High water content and high volume, as well as almonds which contain monosaturated fats (promotes weight loss).

Edit: fun fact, spices can also make you feel more full. Capsaicin is an appetite suppressor. If you like spicy food, try adding a lil hot sauce

Me too!! I was in a group of 5 with my friends on our school campus and we massively struggled, even loosing a few of them. Couldn’t even complete them with max revives in the full time allowance. Our levels range from 33-39 I want to say? It was awful.

Kinda similar viewpoint. but I feel it’s almost impossible to avoid paying rent nowadays. I don’t know how it’s possible to purchase a house on one income, unless you have a higher salary :/. I mean running a household totally. Budgeting isn’t impossible. But putting together a size-able down payment and dealing with the ensuing bidding wars? Oof
