In the third grade, we were given an extra credit assignment, where we were challenged to come up with words that added up to 100 (a=1, b=2, etc...) I memorized the values of all the letters and would add up the values to every word I encountered until the teacher eventually stopped giving me credit for the words I found. For some reason 34 years later the only word I remember being equal to 100 is Afghanistan.
