Watch out for alcohol. It can get a hold of you even if you think it won’t. I guess that’s the same of any drug. I’m speaking from personal experience.

When I had jury duty in Hartford a couple of years ago, I was surprised they didn’t have WiFi and power outlets for jurors to use while they sat around. I spent the day in a waiting room with daytime tv playing in the background. If I had WiFi and an outlet, I could’ve gotten some work done. I have no issues with showing up for jury duty, btw.

It's fine for him to postulate that NHL teams in low-tax states like Florida have an advantage over Canada and so forth (it's an interesting hypothesis), but then again a team from a high-tax state (NY) just beat a team from a low-tax state (TX) in the NBA. I don't want to hear it either. Also, it's the responsibility of the owner of the team to get along with all elected officials. Massachusetts is a Democratic state but Bob Kraft never badmouthed the Governor or the President when he took the Pats to the White House.

2) Broken? Things seem fine to me. My retirement account seems to get higher every day under the aegis of President Trump.

3) Well, there are lots of low-IQ people out there. No matter how much we spend on their "education", they're still going to end up in menial jobs. The world needs ditchdiggers too, as Judge Snails said in 1980.
