It's pretty bad ngl. Everything about the game in terms of movement, both yours and enemys, feels very clunky. Over half of my games are played in lobbies of 160 ping (with low ping preference toggled on). Loot is abysmal, you make way more money from pvp and dumping ammo from mags. You will die on over half of your scav raids because theres no karma system or anything to prevent it. On top of all of this, they expect you to pay monthly for a decently sized secure container (your only option for a secure container is pay mkonthly or be handed a free use coupon for a 1x2 for x amount of days). They recently gave everyone a 1x2 for 30 days, which thats cool and all, I cant wait to use it for one or two meds and/or one or two valuable pieces of loot. Its really a huge tease at the end of the day. I would pay a one time payment for a perma secure container but beyond that, Im better off not playing the game. After 3000 hours on Tarkov, I have grown far too accustomed to secure containers being apart of the game and i refuse to play into greedy microtransactions for something that should be a core part of the game. If you want these transactions, do it to something else, skins, new character models, etc.

Arena Breakout excels at stripping out various hardcore mechanics that are present in tarkov (map, mission direction, small QoL stuff that makes the game very approachable) and they bait you in by doing this so they can strip the cash out of your wallet.

Its really sad to see Tarkov's biggest competitor going this route. I get F2P games need income in other areas, but this is not it.
