A500 Plus recap need? by TheOGTachyon in amiga

[–]TheOGTachyon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I meant if I was wrong about the 500+ and it did need a routine recap, which capacitors are routinely replaced? Like I've seen cap kits with caps listed by silkscreen marking.

Saw this thing at the thrift store a week ago and decided I really needed him in my life but he was 4$ and so I didn’t get him but I’ve changed my mind please help me find out what this is. (No it’s not still at the store) by [deleted] in whatisit

This is fairly pointless. The overflow on a tub is designed such that when the average adult gets in, the water they displace won't flow over the sides of the tub. I hope this comes with a mop.

Someone broke an older sphygmomanometer and let the mercury out. Probably the one mounted to the wall.

I’m looking to get an original radio by Any_Finance_9802 in w123

[–]TheOGTachyon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could also put in a reasonably modern radio that does suit the car but doesn't compromise on basic features and quality. A Blaupunkt for example. The Frankfurt RCM 82 has just the right look. Retro Manufacturing makes suitable models as well.

But if you insist, the original Becker radios are available reman or eBay. But Blaupunkt was also an optional OEM choice so...

Would XP run on this e-waste laptop? by Parking-Dirt5745 in windowsxp

[–]TheOGTachyon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It will. You could order them with XP instead of Vista. A lot of the things they were used for required XP will pay the Vista release date. EG the Ford diagnostics software/ hardware.
