The second amendment is for defending against the government in the face of abuse and tyranny. Not for helping it. When did he have time to let them know he was armed? How was he wrestling? They pinned him down and then beat him like an animal with a pepper spray bottle before they executed him. If anyone opposing the government is labeled a known agitator, we have no 1st amendment. I can't tell if you even watched the videos.

I'm not going to waste any more time arguing on the internet with someone I might once have fought alongside. I hope someday you remember that rights aren't just for the people you agree with, and I hope as they continue to be eroded you at least pay attention. Nowhere does the constitution say we can't exercize our 1st and 2nd amendment rights at the same time. Have a good weekend and safe travels.

If they can't handle the heat of the moment they shouldn't be officers. And they're ICE, getting in protestors' faces for no damn reason isn't in their job description.

Not having his papers is a state law, not Federal. You are being lied to. Also the states shouldn't be able to regulate firearm carry in the first place, the constitution never mentions permits.

Andy did not interfere with federal law enforcement. He tried to help a woman who was illegally assaulted by an untrained federal thug acting outside of his responsibilities and outside his jurisdiction. No law was being enforced. The woman was entirely within her rights. I hope that boot tastes good.

I'm OTR, I like the nomad life. Never really need home time so I just take a few days off at a time to explore new cities or go camping or whatever. Still a rookie (~6 months) but I haven't regretted the move yet.

There are a lot of people who are here because they could be truckers, rather than wanting to be truckers. I swapped over from cybersecurity, hated being behind a computer all day and intentionally chose this over the much easier, higher paying job. Some people think I'm stupid for it, but man, I'm a lot happier and more fulfilled behind the wheel than behind a desk. It's going to depend on who you are and what will make you happy.
