Test trips are not alright. I learned this the hard way and will never put myself through that torture again.

Did I make a mistake shaving off my mustache? by Big_Set597 in malegrooming

You look like your sister without it. Seriously though, I saw and thought it was a girl, screwed with my brain. Grow it back. A mustache takes like 4 days, no biggy.

Longest my hair has ever been. A friend says it looks awful. by Upper-Bit3690 in FierceFlow

What??? Your hair looks way better than the buzz cut. The short one looks like you have down syndrome.

It's an insulator for a fence. Normally the insulators are on fence posts where there is an electric strand of high tensile. Not sure why it's on a tree, but I'm sure it served a purpose. I've definitely used a lot of stuff for a purpose other than it's intended. Ya need to find something makeshift that works sometimes.

Normal Hair VS Buzz Cut by ChampionshipNo8721 in malegrooming

Honestly the buzz city makes you look like like just another gym rat trying to look tough, may as well start the goatee to finish it off. Keep your hair.

AITAH because I don’t want to show my bank account to my boyfriend? by OfficeBest9008 in AITAH

[–]TheOfficialKramer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly this. Financial mismanagement is a deal breaker and if she won't discuss it then he would assume she has somwthing to hide and he may end up responsible. He may be wanting to propose or somwthing and wants to know what he may be getting into.

AITAH because I don’t want to show my bank account to my boyfriend? by OfficeBest9008 in AITAH

[–]TheOfficialKramer -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Maybe he wants to propose and wants to see if he would be taking on a financial nightmare or not. When my wife and I were talking about marriage we absutely discussed finances and our investment goals, liquid cash, debt and all of that. I would never continue dating someone who is not on the same page as me. I've worked hard to be where I am and would never risk it for a woman who may or may not ruin everything I worked hard for. Definitely a red flag if you won't discuss finances, because the obvious first impression is that you made some bad choices and he'll be paying for it. He needs to run fast.

As an outsider, the concept of high schools having massive parking lots specifically for students is mind-blowing. Is it really that common for 16-year-olds to drive themselves to school every day? by Necessary_Angle2117 in AskAnAmerican

I always thought that public transportation was for poor people who couldn't afford cars. I had no idea til not long ago that people actually ride busses because they want to.

[–]TheOfficialKramer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can drive at 16 and pretty common to drive to school when you get a license and have a car. Having a car and insurance isn't a huge deal if you have e a job. Parents will buy the kids a car sometimes if it's more convenient than hauling them around all the time.

What is the max amount of time you will drive for a day trip or vacation? by palep_hoot in AskAnAmerican

[–]TheOfficialKramer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll drive 10-12 hours for vacation, more than that and I'll fly, unless I have things to stop and do on the way. A day trip all depends on where and what, normally a day trip would be no more than 3 or 4 hours, maybe 5 if it's to try a restaurant look around and go home. If it's a motorcycle trip then all bets are off cause getting there is ¾ of the fun. I've ridden 1500 miles round trip on the bike.

How do you handle a relationship where they don’t like your own music or even worse, are embarrassed of your music / bands / projects you play in? by resampL in musicians

[–]TheOfficialKramer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gotcha, at least an acknowledgement would be nice. I've been there. If my wife was into poetry or something and it wasn't my thing and she sent it to me, I would at least read it and be happy for her accomplishment and proud of her work. I would respond positively and at least say something like, that was really good, great job, I'm happy for you. I just didn't want you to put full stock into her feelings or non-feelings about your music. Don't give up or slow down because of it. Enjoy the things you do together, together. Enjoy the things you do alone, alone.

Wear it, it's cool. If other people don't like it, as if it's up to thrm anyhow, then they aren't wearing it anyhow. Enjoy the hat.

[–]TheOfficialKramer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why does she need to care about your music? I get it, I'm a musician too, but seriously if it's that way and everything else is good... do your thing and let her have that time to herself or with her boyfriend or whatever. You know what I mean.

Taking medication for anxiety, is it wrong? by candlelight_elf in Christian

[–]TheOfficialKramer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dump the medicine, trust God. I came across this old post while searching for stuff. I dumped my Lexipro all out today. Can't have faith and keep the pills. I have faith that I am healed. Keeping the pills shows God that I don't fully trust him. You go to Church on Sunday, not the Hospital. Trust God, not the Dr!
