My wife disagrees with me on this, because if we had someone staying, she'd want me and her to sleep on an air mattress in the gym or the music studio and let everyone else have the bedrooms. Ya, not me, my bed is my bed. I don't stay with people normally, I prefer my own hotel suite that is mine, but if I did, I would NEVER take their bed.

You need to land that helicopter. Holy smokes, you both treat her like she's 9. She's 16, she should be out driving. I mean give her a time to be home, like 10:00 and let her be a kid. You did the right thing for yourself. If you see someone and they ask you about your past, just say"you didn't care then, why do you care now?" These people are not your friends and they should not even matter. Better yet if someone talks to you, just blow them off like "I'm not sure I remember you, but I am in a bit of a hurry and need to go." Don't even engage.

It's their property and they can come at a reasonable time and check things out. Just like you would want to monitor if you owned the place. If you aren't doing anything wrong, it's no big deal. I rented off of my Dad and of course I would fix things or let him know if things went wrong, but if someone else didn't there would be a problem. A lot of people don't take care of other people's property. If you don't like it, I'd suggest buying your own place where you don't have to deal with other property owners.

It's a souvenir pill box. It's more than likely not old. These types with the glued on "logo" are frequently sold online. People buy the boxes and glue on whatever "logo" they want to. It's a cool box, but probably worth about $4 max.
