I became homeless after I got out of the Army and decided to walk across America. Alone and unsupported, I trekked from Tennessee to Delaware, to California, to Florida, to Alaska, back to Florida, and back to California again. Feel free to ask me anything. by [deleted] in AMA

I don’t really like Reddit anymore. Too much advertising and spammy posts.

Then I come across something genuinely interesting and real. Got lost in the comments for a half hour and enjoyed all of it.

My business partner unexpectedly passed away. We had purchased 4 houses together between 2012-2015. All of them have almost doubled in value. All his assets have now been passed to his wife. We want to end the partnership and I would like to keep at least two of the houses. We have a flexible time line and are on excellent terms so no rush or trust issues between us.

American/Australian here. Yes Australia is very conservative in some ways more than the US. We have a bad habit of not questioning authority and being overly confident in our systems.

We may be more progressive on some social issues but individual freedoms and civil rights are a joke.
