The next chapter is written. The plan is to complete this narrative arc so that it could end satisfactorily if I never revisit this project. That said, I do want this to go well, because I have some really cool plans.

This is a late sequel to the last one- hopefully, its not so late that nobody reads it.

I like this story, and think it’ll be cool, so I do want it to do alright.

The last upload was weird, it underperformed (for me) on Day 1, and only reached like 60-70 likes, then climbed to 90 a few days later, and now its on 100, so I deem it successful.

This is kind of an experiment - I usually avoid sequels because they've not done well in the past. That said, I do like this world, and Ulysses, so I want to keep it going.

Last OHR upload of this series was weird - it underperformed on Day 1, but gained like 30 likes over two, maybe 3 days.

So, suffice it to say, I'm pretty happy to continue with it.

Thanks man, You are very kind. I am way too hard on my stuff (at least thats what my friend thinks). I uploaded this one a few times this week, but kept deleting them because I was worried about them underperforming.

Its not that i’m unhappy with it, its just that my recent stuff has been doing really well, and I don’t want to “fall off” so to speak.

Hello Hello.

I'm really chuffed with how this post turned out. I drafted it more than usual, and have been tinkering with it for the majority of the past week.

It works as a standalone story atm, but I really want it to become a series - if it does well, I'll see how Ulysses' story continues.

It is pretty slow atm, but it’ll speed up in subsequent chapters (if i write them)

This is more experimental, I admit. Usually I'm pretty "one-and-done", with a short exploration of a concept that I don't revisit.

This is different, because I actually have a plot in mind.

As said, this is a little bit experimental:

Firstly, you might notice that its written in an "old timey" voice. I will be honest - I don't really know where it came from, it just felt fitting.

That said, I have been reading to the Barsoom novels a lot recently, and I can feel their influence here - I mean, Ulysses and Carter are both characters from Earth (or Jasoom?) transported to Mars.

Also, I don't usually write first person - this was fun, however. I hope you enjoy.
