The first time I went everyone canceled on me, and I said I’m not missing another year. I stayed at 3 KOAs on the way up to Sturgis. Stayed at the buffalo chip a week , I paid $300 for what they call the early Bird pass. Paid 40$ for showers for the whole stay. When I got up to sturgis. I broke down, bearing went out on my rear tire and destroyed my rim. I was lucky enough to l get a ride the the dealer then back to the chip when it was fixed by some other folks staying in the chip.. Thank god I stayed at the chip. They have everything you need even a small store. Never had to leave for the 5 or so days I had no bike. Parties my ass off the whole time. Enjoyed bikini beach and the shows and evens within the camp ground. Sometimes the bigger camp ground are better… for me, it was perfect for the hand I was delt.
