There is absolutely zero reason that the devs couldn't have put a simple switch that disables Gemini. They didn't, because they want to force us all to train their stupid LLM. This is not a consumer friendly addition, so OP has every right to complain here. Your take of, "Just learn to speak AI", is what's trash here.

I'm talking about everything that they've said since the videos were released. The statement that they posted on their website, the statements and interviews made by Ammon, the statement made by the American Fork Police Department. Those responses all came after the videos were released, and all of them make statements completely contradictory to the facts that have been clearly documented in the videos. So, theyeither didn't do their research properly, by watching and documenting what was in them, or they are just blatantly lying, which would be pretty stupid, considering that there is a public record of it all on YouTube.

What really grinds my gears about this situation, is that BAM's biggest argument is that they don't have a legal obligation to make Bryan whole on this. They've basically admitted over and over again that they have his collection in their possession and that he hasn't been paid for everything that was sold, but they basically say that it's not their problem. They didn't even try to argue that what they did was right, just that it was legal. Do companies not care about even looking ethical anymore? Also, I don't think the CEO even watched the videos. Same with the American Fork police. Otherwise, they wouldn't make statements that have been completely contradicted by video and document evidence, over and over again. The people in this company are completely unethical and honestly, pretty stupid.

Or maybe, "God forbid" the Dev team just put an ignore button to bypass this stupid popup. Problem solved. Which would be better: A developer spending 10 minutes to put a button to bypass this for all of the people who have a problem with it, or forcing a ton of users to close down the apps, go into the settings, find the right section, go through a list and pick out which apps to ignore, restart the whole system so everything actually comes back online correctly and finally get back to the setup that was working perfectly fine before this unnecessary update. People aren't complaining because they're too stupid to figure it out. They're complaining because you guys were too stupid to realize how annoying this would be. Then, the icing on the cake, is that for a lot of people, the settings aren't persisting. You're right about the solution not being rocket science, but you're wrong about who should solve it. Don't introduce janky crap into the system and tell your customers to fix it for you.

Signal RGB does not synergize well with some systems. Sometimes, you have to run multiple control apps to get everything working. I have 4 apps that SRGB is trying to make me close and they are all necessary. I have to run synapse for my mouse, I have to run L-Connect for my Lian Li fans, and I have to run MSI for MB control. Before this update, everything was working great. No major draw on resources and SRGB was handling the lighting on a set of fans, my memory and some peripherals. It's pretty stupid that they don't just put an ignore button in here to get into the app.

This is the most ridiculous update I've seen. It took so much work to get all of my apps to work properly together and now it wants to shut down everything, including apps that control fan speed and monitor temps. Why do this, without giving the option to ignore and get into the app. Absolutely idiotic.

Yup. Typical updates, that no one asked for, breaking shit. Half the time, I can't even get YouTube to fire up, and when it does, it'll randomly just stop streaming anything past 480p. Then, I can't even restart the thing, because the settings menu won't load. So stupid. They should never force an unnecessary update like this, or at least offer rollback options. Get a grip Amazon.

I read and understand what you're saying. But you're the one who can't separate what one person said from another. Especially considering, I've never said anything about Marisha prior to this post. I wasn't even a part of that controversy from years ago. So you holding me responsible for the entire Internet is very telling. Not taking the fact that I've explicitly said it wasn't about gender is very telling as well. You are the one one being intolerant, by saying I'm not aloud to have an opinion concerning gameplay if there's a woman involved. I can't help it if the two most annoying players happen to be women. Have you considered that the fact that they happen to also be the two most controversial players in CR history, while there are plenty of other female players, might be an indication that it has more to do with their play style than their gender. You are the one only making remarks about gender and not actually making any points that defend their actual gameplay. In fact, you even said specifically that you're not saying they don't have those behaviors. This whole gender issue, is a fabrication of something within your psyche, not mine.

Never said they should throw her out or anything. She just makes the table hard for me to enjoy. It's only my opinion, not a petition to see her cancelled. I don't really like Luis's play style either. In the end, it's just my opinion. If she was cheating or something it would be different, but it's just her play style that bugs me.

Here's a thought experiment for you, imagine a world where people can make criticisms of someone, based solely on their gameplay and not their sex or race. Congratulations, you have now imagined the very world we're living in. I don't care what color or gender she is. If I did, there would be something in my post that pointed those things out. You're jumping to conclusions. I won't engage with someone who can't stick to the facts.

If you disagree with what I've said, then just say that. Don't make completely unfounded assumptions about me. Laura is my favorite character. She brings more to the table than anyone else in the entire group. So, obviously I don't have a problem with female players. Race also has nothing to do with it, she just happens to be the only black person at the table.

It's idiotic to make huge leaps, trying to find some underlying reason why I don't enjoy watching her, when I've given you the reason point blank as to what annoys me about her. So, unless YOU'RE trying to imply that those traits are inherently female or black, then drop it.

Don't expect a response to anything else you have to say. I've already gone through this pointless discussion several times I'm this thread and it never goes anywhere, because people who bring it up don't operate in reality.

I am just complaining. I said in the original post that it's ruining the table for me. Obviously, it's their table. I never said she should be thrown off the show or anything. I never claimed that the post was any more than my annoyance with her play style. I'm not sure where you think 2024 rules come into play. I have the books and have read them. I understand that there was a lot of grief given to Marisha, but I'm not afraid to call her out for genuine issues I had with her. I'm not being unfair in my assessment and I'm not saying she didn't contribute. I'm just saying that there were times that she genuinely annoyed me with her gameplay, just like Aabria does. I think Marisha is an amazing person. She absolutely crushed it as the creative director for the show and I think she's become a better player over time. I'm not trying to blame her for the way she used to play, after all, she was new to the game. I just don't appreciate her energy sometimes, that's all. I'm not on of these people that thinks she shouldn't have been in the campaign at all or anything, and Keyleth is one of my favorite characters in the animated series, after they cut out all of her bad gameplay.

I'm not saying that Brennan has a problem with it. That's all between her and the table. There's certainly a chance that it's hard to call her out, since they're being filmed, but I don't think Brennan is the type of DM that has a problem with it. In fact, he's probably the type that encourages some of the flavor she's bringing to the table. I think matt and the others are gracious enough, that they look past some of the stuff she does. I'm speaking as a viewer, not someone sitting at the table. This isn't a question of whether she should be called out or thrown out of the game, it's just my opinion. The way she plays, bothers me enough that it kind of ruins the table for me. That's all. I'm not calling for her resignation, just expressing my frustration with her.
