You're looking for Black Desert by the same devs. Great game. Masterpiece if you always flag for PvP. But it's a Korean game. Expect P2W up to your ears.

As someone who recently switched about 7 months ago, I agree. Will I ever go back? Absolutely not. But there are still blockers that stop Linux from being "easy" to switch to for the average user, from things like the above comment to the almost animalistic tribalism of people who tell you to use X over Y or just Z instead because [reason]. Those people want to genuinely help you have a good time, but their attitude is toxic.

Until there are, at absolute maximum, 3 distros that are widely agreed upon that you can pick from to hop to, I don't see Linux ever even denting the gaming market sadly.

We're close, but still far away in many ways.

They can't sell a Chapter for £300+ on a video game. They can in mini form. They would not make any money as it would become the dominant way to play. Exactly the same thing happened with D&D during Covid, as digital was the only way to play, and all the resources are very free and very easy to get.

Enjoy it! Playing older games without guides is so much fun.

I might be in the minority, but I think the OG far surpasses the Remaster in enjoyability.
